@InTheBalls147 Heard it last night when I was watching John & Neil. It sounds better in real life than it does on the telly. Think the telly amplifies it, in the Crucible it sounded more natural.

@GURNEY2 Yes that’s the main point every one else has made (see replies), and I appreciate that, but imo it’s unfair on those who can’t get tickets who would want to watch the whole match

Bloke sat in front of me tonight. Watched first 2 frames then went out. Came back after mid session, watched 1 more frame and went out again, didn’t come back What’s the point? Just go watch in a pub and let someone else have the ticket ffs #worldsnookerchampionship #snooker

@OneSpeed21 The seats are cramped yes. That’s why you see so many people stood up between frames. I’d rather do that than miss any frames!

@laurabennett80 I've done very similar the only time I've been the snooker. It's uncomfortable for anybody over a certain (not even tall) height with how cramped the seats are. I'd never go again the TV is much better.

@AtlinSnooker Medical issues, emergencies, of course no problem. Duties requiring them to leave for 70% of the match - don’t go.

In point I tend to agree with you. But let's be honest, we know nothing about why anyone would go in and out.... Could have fully legit reasons. Medical. Emergency. Might have duties that require them to step out and focus on something else. As long as they come and go between breaks, I see no issue.

@Snookerpals I’m not 100% sure, I don’t think priority as such, I get emails telling me when tickets are going on sale

@laurabennett80 Thats pretty lenient. Like you say, wasted tickets. Is there a way to sign up for preorder or priority access to tickets? Every time I have tried its always sold out.

@Snookerpals Yes there’s a bar. You can come and go between frames, but not mid frame

@laurabennett80 I understand people going in and out when there is an appropriate moment, but what I don't understand is people who are physically there but doing other stuff on their phones 😅 I know some people use the betting apps but I mean people who are sat there scrolling 🤣 so weird

@RobJF24 Yeah, I get people have paid, it’s their ticket, needing loo etc, but like you say - it happens a lot, and it’s frustrating when people are clamouring for tickets and then you see people essentially missing half the match

Folk can obviously do what they want if they've paid the money and all that, and medical reasons and such naturally a thing as well, but I've always been a bit surprised at the sheer number of people that essentially 'pop in and out' at live snooker. That said, I damn near ruptured my bladder after taking a big gamble and sticking around for the final frame of Judd and Slessor in Brentwood earlier this season, so it's not always easy 😅

@laurabennett80 Look Laura, you could have commented on your experience at the crucible. what it was like, the match, the excitement etc. you chose to be negative af and comment about what someone else was up to. someone that you don't know, what their experience is.
