What focus group told Democrats that “war of choice” was a good propaganda phrase??? I find it ridiculous and annoying. I think they could’ve done better 😂

In NY, a homeowner building a garage, a farmer expanding a barn, or a small business improving their property can spend years navigating environmental reviews, permits, hearings, and litigation. But when a politically favored solar developer wants to industrialize thousands of acres, Albany suddenly finds a shortcut. The Fort Edward Solar project exposes the double standard. This isn’t an abandoned industrial site. It’s a grassland habitat recognized for its environmental significance and home to vulnerable species. For most New Yorkers, impacts like these would trigger intense scrutiny and could easily result in denial. Yet through ORES, state policy starts with a different assumption: the project moves forward, and the impacts are ignored. Albany tells us farmland must be preserved. Habitat must be protected. Local voices must be heard. But when those priorities collide with state energy mandates, the rules change. That’s what frustrates so many New Yorkers: The sheer hypocrisy. If these lands are worth protecting, protect them. If environmental standards matter, apply them consistently. And if local communities are expected to live with the consequences, their voices should matter before—not after—the decision is made. Albany cannot claim to be protecting farmland, habitat, and local control while using ORES to override all three. Local voices matter. ORES should be disbanded.

Thank you @NassauExec! He’s referencing Fort Edward Solar, the industrial complex I am fighting for by my farm. This grassland carries numerous environmental designations, including being a DEC-designated grassland habitat that’s home to 10 of the 11 top species of concern in the entire STATE! They cannot build this 100MW complex, owned by Canada, in the middle of American ecological excellence. It stops with Fort Edward.

I'm going to have to break with NRO on this because I fundamentally disagree with this sentence from the editorial: "...Trump’s unworthy and abusive campaign to investigate and prosecute his political opponents." Trump didn't make these individuals his "political opponents" -- that reverses the causation. The fact that individuals launch misguided and/or illegitimate efforts at a sitting President, or at an individual out of office with an intent to run for office again, does NOT then become provide them with a cloak of immunity from their own potential criminal behavior. To dismiss all the investigations as "retribution" - and declare them illegitimate based on that label -- is de facto immunity they purchased for themselves by going first. The cautionary tale in this is as follows: Do not employ the criminal justice system as a political tool to stymie the implementation of policies you disagree with after losing an election. Political motives should not provide protection from an investigation as to whether your own conduct was, in fact, legal.
Eric W.@EWess92

It's a rehash of arguments I hear on "The Editors" podcast from those that are President Trump skeptical every week. But NRO doesn't do itself justice here. Read the full editorial here: nationalreview.com/2026/06/no-to-…

Something something Orange Man Bad something something Meanwhile New York under Kathy Hochul leads the nation in outmigration as the most taxed, least affordable state. So yes, New Yorkers deserve leaders who will put them first, like @NassauExec, @sarithaforny and @hernandezforny
Kathy Hochul@KathyHochul

New Yorkers deserve leaders who are going to put them first. I’m proud to support candidates across our state who are ready to deliver real results, lower costs, and stand up to Trump’s harmful agenda every step of the way.🧵

🚨 WOW! Dr. ALVEDA KING just said it PERFECTLY on Capitol Hill "I still have a dream. I dream that one day we will move beyond black power and white power and embrace GOD'S power and human dignity!" "I reject the notion that Americans who hold traditional Christian beliefs should be treated as THREATS or TERRORISTS simply because we disagree with a prevailing political thought!" 🙏🏻 "I dream that Americans will one day see each other, not as enemies, but as neighbors. I dream that we will hear each other, see each other, and recognize that every human life has value from the womb to the tomb and beyond." "We are as scripture teaches, one blood, one human race. And if we remember that truth, we can build a future worthy of the sacrifices made by those who came before us." "We must speak out for truth and against the forces that would manufacture hate, fear, division, and violence simply to line their pockets and further their political ambitions." "God bless America, God bless you!" 🇺🇸🇺🇸👏🏻

Overriding local control, Albany politicians have massively ramped up their railroading of upstate communities, forcing them to take on the burden of far more solar farms on farmland. While in the southern tier this morning, I spoke out on behalf of the many upstate residents who are having their voices and opinions ignored and rejected by Governor Hochul and her henchmen of power hungry, out of touch Albany bureaucrats.

New York’s primary energy source is natural gas from out of state and out of country. While there is stiff competition in the category of most idiotic policies in NY, the state’s ban on natural gas extraction may be the pace setter. Was in Binghamton this morning to talk about this abundant energy resource that is available in the ground underneath NY. Despite all the jobs, lower cost of living, increased revenue, and vibrant downtowns that would come with reversing the state’s ban, Albany politicians like Kathy Hochul and her friends just refuse to apply basic common sense and lead NY back to greatness.

@epaleezeldin Told at a local town meeting about solar farm going in that ORES dictates solar farm WILL be built even if town rejected the solar farm by referendum. ORES only gives ability to mitigate some terms of the build ex fire depart requests. The legality of ORES must be investigated!

Governor Sherrill won’t tell you: New Jersey state prisons face systemic health code violations. Over 8,000 grievances are filed annually by inmates. Northern State Prison: untreated flooding, sewage and wastewater sewage, and lack of temperature control. Garden State Youth Correctional Facility: received citations for filthy conditions with standing water and rodent infestations. New Jersey State Prison: contaminated site surrounded by six other toxic sites within half a mile. Sick call requests also face major delayed response times in NJ state prisons. I’d encourage @GovSherrillNJ to focus on her own backyard, and put the safety of her own constituents above illegal aliens.

Crickets from career politicians in South Carolina. Silence is complicity. What's happening to @RomReddySC is disgusting and despicable.
Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette@PamelaEvette

The attacks on @RomReddySC are ridiculous. We can disagree on policy and politics, but there is no place for this type of bigotry and personal smears in South Carolina. If career politicians can’t win on the issues, you don’t deserve to win at all.

I'm sorry, but I need to say something... Didn't Trump designate ANTIFA a terrorist orginization? Why aren't we treating these people like terrorists? They ALL should be in prison... …so why are they allowed to terrorize conservatives like this?!!

I distinctly remember being in a space where I was telling black people about the Karmelo Anthony story, how devastating it was to hear how Austin Metcalf died, how sickening it was that Karmelo got rich from it, and how digusting it was that Black people supported him. How we needed to do and be better as black people. What was the bottom of the moral abyss for us as a collective? I was prepared to have an earnest, genuine conversation. And I thought everyone, because these were seemingly reasonable and educated Black people, would understand that getting murdered in front of your twin brother just because you told someone a seat was taken is horrible. That Karmelo clearly chimped out and was in the wrong and deserved to be under the jail. And in the most calm, articulate, negrosplaning voice, one argued that we "didn't know the full story". To which I said, in what circumstance is it ok to stab an unarmed person to death after a conversation about a seat? What could have possibly happened to justify that? And all I got was "what if he was racist?" "what if he called him a nigger?" "what if he was mentally ill?" That's when I finally let go and accepted that at least 95% of black people need to sent to Liberia. "My people" cannot be saved if they refuse to be righteous. If they're not niggers, they're defending niggers, if they're not defending niggers, they're pretending niggers aren't that big of a problem, if they're not pretending niggers aren't that big of a problem, then they're pretending niggers don't exist at all. I'm fucking done. Karmelo Anthony needs to be given the death penalty and I don't care who cries about it and how many gas stations are burned down.
