#GramSwarajya in Action - This is what true grassroots awareness and community mobilization can achieve with the guidance of the Legal Rights Protection Forum. In Venkatapur village of Wanaparthy District, Telangana, a pastor from outside the village purchased a piece of land and began constructing a church building without permission. Notably, the village has no Christian population. Local residents became concerned that the construction was intended to establish a base for conversion activities in the village. With the guidance and support of the Legal Rights Protection Forum, villagers became aware of their legal rights and the constitutional powers of the Gram Sabha. People from all caste communities united and collectively opposed the move. To address the issue democratically, the villagers convened a Gram Sabha meeting on 24 March, where a formal resolution was passed opposing the unauthorized church construction in the village. Acting on the Gram Sabha’s decision, the Gram Panchayat issued a notice directing that the construction be stopped. Further strengthening the villagers’ position, the Village Sarpanch formally wrote to the District Collector, conveying the collective resolution of the villagers and requesting administrative action, stating that no church should be constructed in the village where there are currently no Christian residents. This episode demonstrates how community unity, constitutional local governance through the Gram Sabha, and legal awareness at the grassroots, supported by the Legal Rights Protection Forum, can effectively address such issues at the village level.

Suspended IPS officer PV Sunil Kumar’s School TC records him as BC-C (Christian). How then did he later obtain an SC certificate and enter service under the SC quota? This is fraud on the Constitution. @DoPTGoI must investigate the matter and take criminal action.

Judgment is welcome, but implementation matters. Where to report misuse of SC status by Christian converts? Who can cancel such SC certificates? What evidence proves conversion? What laws apply? This Telugu handbook by @lawinforce has information about it. samvitprakashan.com/product/matham…

Location Traced: The massive building titled 'Zion Center', claimed to be intended for a Children’s Home, has been constructed beside Indiramma Colony on Settur Road, Kalyandurgam, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. The said “Home” does not appear to be registered with the Government of Andhra Pradesh under the Juvenile Justice Act, which is a mandatory requirement for any institution housing or caring for children. Dear Mr. @seanfeucht — concealing geographical details does not make such fraud projects untraceable. Serious questions arise: Who are the children shown in the videos being described as 'orphans' and 'survivors of child trafficking'? Do the relevant government authorities have official information about them, or are these merely unverified claims? Who funded the construction of the Zion Center? What is the specific interest or involvement of foreign nationals in establishing or operating this children’s home in Anantapur District? We are going to write to the concerned Law Enforcement agencies for necessary action.
Sean Feucht@seanfeucht

The massive crowd OUTSIDE the Zion Center today! 🙌🏽🔥 We couldn’t fit everyone inside—but no one left hungry. Every single person was fed… all 3,500 of them! 250 chickens 4 goats And lots and lots of rice 🍚 This is what the Kingdom looks like—meeting needs, loving people, and sharing Jesus in a tangible way. Support this work here: lightacandle.global/sponsor We’re not stopping. We’ll do it again and again! 🇮🇳

We have filed a complaint before the FCRA Division, Ministry of Home Affairs, seeking an investigation into the utilisation of foreign contributions by St. Francis De Sales Society (FCRA Reg. No. 020780003), Guwahati, Assam. Our examination indicates a serious discrepancy between the declared purposes of the foreign funds received by the NGO and their actual utilisation. During FY 2024–25, the organisation received approximately ₹7.90 crore in foreign contributions, declaring the funds under ‘Educational’ and ‘Social’ purposes. But, the a substantial portion of these funds has been used for religious infrastructure, including community prayer halls, presbytery buildings, shrines, grotto structures, and other ecclesiastical facilities. In view of these prima facie inconsistencies, we have requested the Ministry of Home Affairs to order the immediate suspension of the FCRA registration of St. Francis De Sales Society and to conduct a detailed audit and inspection of its foreign contribution receipts, utilisation records, and asset creation to determine compliance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010.

On 3 December 2025, the administration of J. Sikile School, Narasapuram, in West Godavari, run by J. Sikile Foundation, denied entry to a Hindu minor girl student for observing Bhavani Deeksha and wearing sacred attire. Now an RTI reply reveals that the school has ₹1,45,01,735 in pending property tax dues to Narasapuram Municipality. One assessment alone shows arrears of ₹53,20,707 against a half-yearly tax of ₹63,560, indicating decades of non-payment. We filed a complaint with the Commissioner of Narasapuram Municipality, the District Collector of West Godavari, and the Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh seeking a comprehensive departmental inquiry into approximately four decades of non-recovery of property tax, fixation of responsibility and initiation of disciplinary action against officials found accountable, assessment of the financial loss caused to the public exchequer, and transparency through public disclosure of the inquiry findings. youtube.com/watch?v=WxkCpI…

NIT Warangal Update: Following recent developments, the administration has now allotted a designated space for Hindu students to conduct Hanuman Chalisa Parayan, marking a significant development for the students who had sought permission for the same. Notably, the Director of NIT Warangal personally attended today’s recitation program, underscoring the administration’s formal recognition and support for the students’ peaceful religious activity.

We have filed a petition before the National Human Rights Commission seeking an independent inquiry into the reported suppression of Hindu students’ Fundamental Rights at National Institute of Technology, Warangal. As per information received, students at Hostel 1.8K had been peacefully reciting Hanuman Chalisa every Tuesday for nearly a year without complaint. However, after a video surfaced on social media, the administration allegedly intervened on 17 Feb 2026 and stopped the activity, warning students of disciplinary consequences. At the same time, it is reported that space is facilitated for Namaz within the hostel and that Christian events, including “NITMAS” Christmas celebrations, are officially organized with participation of senior administrators. Sought NHRC to issue directions for a fair and independent inquiry into the reported restriction of Hindu students’ peaceful religious practice at NIT - Warangal. We have also requested that campus rules be applied equally to all religious activities, without discrimination or selective enforcement. Additionally, we have sought protection for students who participated in the Hanuman Chalisa recitation to ensure that no retaliation or academic action is taken against them.

NIT Warangal: Group of students had been voluntarily assembling every Tuesday at 7 PM in the 1.8K Hostel for 15 minutes to recite the Hanuman Chalisa. The gathering was informal and student-led. However, after a video of the recitation circulated on social media, the institute administration reportedly intervened. According to available reports, on 17 February, students were instructed to discontinue the recitation. It is further alleged that they were cautioned about strict disciplinary consequences, including the possibility of rustication, should the activity continue. At the same time, information indicates that Muslim students were allowed to use the 9th-floor common hall of the hostel premises to offer Namaz. Additionally, Christian religious events, including Christmas celebrations organized under the banner “NITMAS,” have reportedly been conducted in previous years with the participation of senior administrative officials. thecommunemag.com/complaint-file…

We have been informed by Bapatla District Child Protection Unit officials that an inspection was conducted at “Glory Orphanage Home” run by Vision Hope Mission. Shockingly, it was found that the children housed there were not orphans but had living parents from nearby localities. Parents were summoned, children were handed back, and the orphanage was closed. However, the inspection was conducted only after repeated follow-ups, raising serious concerns about delay and lack of urgency in a matter involving vulnerable children. Even more alarming is that, apart from closure, no FIR or criminal proceedings appear to have been initiated under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 or other applicable laws. Falsely portraying children with living parents as “orphans,” operating an unregistered institution, and potentially using their identities for fundraising are grave violations of child protection laws and may attract offences under BNS. Simply shutting down the premises cannot wipe out criminal liability. We filed a petition before the National Human Rights Commission seeking strict action, accountability of officials, and protection of children’s rights. Child safety cannot be compromised. #SaveBachpan @MinistryWCD @WCDAndhra @KanoongoPriyank @India_NHRC @collectorbaptla

Dear District Collector, Bapatla: @collectorbaptla We submitted a formal complaint to your office on 13 February 2026 regarding 'Glory Orphanage Home' (D.4-380, Gandhi Nagar, Kolluru, Bapatla District), which is operating without registration under the Juvenile Justice Act. No action has been taken till date. Public advertisements clearly show this institution functioning in cooperation with VISION OF HOPE MISSION, while funds are allegedly being raised in the name of “orphans” through charity events such as sponsored food and birthday programmes. Have we forgotten the Anakapalli tragedy, where innocent children lost their lives in an unregistered orphanage due to food poisoning? Reference: thehindu.com/news/national/… We informed District WCD officials over phone on the same day. Yet, instead of conducting a surprise inspection, a local official directly contacted the organiser over the phone and merely repeated their claim that they earlier had permission to run an orphanage, but are now operating only as a tuition centre. Such verbal explanations cannot substitute a lawful field verification and official inspection. Child safety cannot be compromised. We urge immediate inspection and lawful action. #SaveBachpan #ChildProtection #AndhraPradesh @naralokesh @GSandhyarani_ @MinistryWCD @India_NHRC @NCPCR_
