My 1st chapter in Good and Beautiful and Kind addresses the topic of Sin. Why? Because until we see Sin as failure to love, we will be tempted to reduce spiritual formation to rule-keeping & sin-avoidance. It’s easy to work hard avoiding sin and still be deeply trapped in it.
