Most hospital operating rooms sit empty after 3:30 No need for costly construction, just staffing with nursing & teams Staff all OR’s to 7:30 pm, & we could complete 50% more cases Add staffing for some weekend time, and do even more …all within the current infrastructure….

We need to keep Medicare alive. The evidence shows more surgeries in private facilities comes with serious costs. There isn't the staffing bandwidth. And in both Quebec and BC, such procedures costed 3x as much. UK had higher death rates. We have to scale innovations in the public system.
