My eldest sister gave birth, and I was told to go help her out as it was her first child.
I was there, and I decided to go to the market to get some clothes for myself, I brought the clothes home, and was testing it for my sister to tell me if it's okay or not.
I wore the first one, and as I tried on the second one, my sister said ha, don't come and use clothes to snatch my husband, I said sister what did you say?
She repeated it again, then I knew it was my time to leave. I stayed for a while and left.
Some few years later, I got married and later found out they things wasn't so well with them, she called me and I offered to send some money to her which she agreed.
Some minutes later she called me back again and said I'm the one using her glory. The sisterhood bond between us broke that day till today.

O God, our heavenly Father, out of love for the human family, you willed your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to be our
Redeemer through the shedding of his blood.
Blessing and thanksgiving be evermore to Jesus.
Who with his blood has saved us.
We give you thanks for the gift of our Lord’s blood, which he shed until the last drop for our salvation. May the blood of
Jesus, shed for us, purify us and protect us from all evil.
In the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we drink the blood of the new and eternal covenant. May it give us peace and may it unite us with all the human family, especially with the poor and the marginalized.
May the Precious Blood of Jesus become for us the blood of life, of unity and of peace. May this mystery of love and grace fill our hearts with the Holy Spirit. United with the Blood of Christ, may we participate with Christ in the work of redeeming our world of today.
Praise to the blood of Jesus.

Day 33 – Friday of the Fifth Week of Lent
Theme: The Plot Against the Just One
Scripture: Jeremiah 20:11 – “But the Lord is with me as a mighty warrior; therefore my persecutors will stumble.”
Invocation of the Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit, defender of the faithful, strengthen my heart when I face opposition or misunderstanding.
Meditation
Lord, the prophet experiences rejection and hostility for speaking Your word. Fidelity to You does not always bring approval; sometimes it brings resistance. Yet the prophet’s confidence rests not in himself but in Your presence. You remain a strong defender of those who trust You. I can become discouraged when doing good is misunderstood or unnoticed. Lent teaches me to anchor my confidence in You rather than in human response. When I act according to Your truth, I am never alone. You see, You sustain, and You judge with justice. Perseverance in righteousness is an act of trust in Your faithfulness.
Petition
Father, give me courage when I face criticism or discouragement for doing what is right. Help me to rely on Your strength.
Resolution
Today I will remain calm and faithful in a situation where I might normally become
discouraged or defensive.
Closing Prayer
Lord Jesus, You endured rejection and remained faithful to the Father. Strengthen my heart to stand firm in truth and charity. May this Lent teach me perseverance rooted in trust in You. Amen.

Day 32 – Thursday of the Fifth Week of Lent Theme: Covenant Fidelity and God’s Promises Scripture: Genesis 17:7 – “I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you… for an everlasting covenant.” Invocation of the Holy Spirit Holy Spirit, Spirit of promise, deepen my trust in God’s faithful covenant. Meditation Lord, You reveal Yourself as a God who makes and keeps covenant – my Covenant keeping God. Your relationship with Your people is not casual but committed and enduring. Even when human fidelity weakens, Your faithfulness remains. You bind Yourself by promise, showing that Your love is stable and trustworthy. Lent reminds me that my faith rests not only on my effort but on Your initiative and grace. You call me, like Abraham, to walk before You in trust and obedience. Covenant means belonging – living as one who is in relationship with You. Each day is an opportunity to renew that belonging through faith and fidelity. Your promises extend beyond the moment into generations. Petition Father, strengthen my trust in Your promises. Help me to live as one who belongs to Your covenant. Resolution Today I will renew my commitment to God in a simple prayer of fidelity, offering my day and choices to Him. Closing Prayer Lord Jesus, You are the fulfilment of the Father’s covenant. Nigerians are in the comments complaining about how poor their salaries are, and rightfully so. But when it’s time to get involved in the decisions that shape those outcomes, tribe and religion suddenly take over.
It’s strange how people can be united by hardship, yet divided by identity, even when those divisions don’t actually change anything about their reality.
