it took me years to stop assuming every IITian in the room was the smartest person in it. watching people with the highest ranks on the jee, unable to read the room, hold a team together or take feedback, changed my mind. closed system intelligence trained on jee, code and equations doesn't translate entirely into the open system real world.

i used to play the lion king on a black and white crt monitor back then. there was a level i could never complete because roaring flipped a certain color of monkeys to make their tails reachable for interaction. they all looked the same to me, and i only figured this mechanic out when i got a color monitor.
