@itsmyamygdala Seconding everyone suggesting looking at PTSD/cPTSD symptoms and giving info about stickiness of that label. Might also be useful for them to think about which symptoms align with BPD dx criteria and the possibility of neurodivergence playing a role?

@noplainsailing Don't get me wrong, there are many valid criticisms around antidepressants and how they are prescribed! Everyone *should* be aware of all their treatment options and the risks/benefits of medication - I imagine that not knowing can make experiencing side effects much scarier too.

@noplainsailing - in clinical trials, across different antidepressants. I'm not super up-to-date with the literature but I'd be happy to chat about it and digest some of the research!

who do you email when you are drowning in the overwhelm of academia and panicking again because there is SO MUCH work and staying up to date on literature seems impossible and you're just in the dark making shit up then realising you're not doing anything new or interesting
