Absolute disaster in the UK. A prominent journalist reveals that in the sixth richest country in the world, 14 million people are living in poverty. Parents are literally skipping meals just to feed their children. The political establishment has completely failed.

There is only one reason the UK has been stuck in 18 years of Austerity. It is to protect the profits of the richest at the expense of everyone else. It is time for them and their profits to destroyed for the damage they have done to everyone else.

“Water, soil, and oxygen should not be infinitely accessible. They are assets that should be included in global economic balance sheets.” This is not satire. The World Economic Forum wants to monetise breathing.

I'm reading a book about Victorian London. Shocking housing conditions, rampant rough sleeping, widespread begging, child malnutrition, overcrowded prisons and sewage spilling into the Thames. Hard to imagine.

British People It's time you fucking woke up to the fact that you are being fucked over by those in charge. They don't give a boiled shite about you and never did. You're patronised, lied-to and deceived by leadership that wants you to stay Poor, in Debt and Powerless. Got it?

The absolute collapse of the British economy exposed. An expert political analyst confirms UK manufacturing plummeted from 30 percent to just 8 percent. Massive cuts to public services and skyrocketing inflation have left ordinary citizens completely abandoned.

@David__Osland And where would UK society be without pensioners’ free labour? In even direr straits. A survey by Centre for Economic and Business Research in 2022 found that over 65s contribute £48 Billion to the economy in unpaid services, £33B in volunteering and £15B in informal care.

Britain has the least generous state pension in the G7 and the highest rate of pensioner poverty in western Europe. And all I'm reading in the rightwing press is 'scrap the triple lock'.

@David__Osland £230.25 a week is the full state pension. Someone on minimum wage full-time clears more than twice that. 50 years of NI contributions and the floor is £11,973 a year. Worth running what you actually need on top: boring-math.com/calculators/uk…

When I started paying National Insurance contributions in 1976, the deal was that I'd get a pension providing for a basic standard of living in a then-unimaginable 50 years' time. But now I've finally got there, it's just half the minimum wage.

The US and Israel are the terrorists. Everyone knows this. Iran has now invited nations, including EU members, to negotiate access to the Strait of Hormuz for a small transit levy, payable in Chinese Yuan. This is a direct challenge to the petrodollar system. If it holds, it's catastrophic for the US dollar and the British pound. The UK is post-Brexit: less leverage in any coordinated European energy response, trade relationships already repriced unfavourably, fewer multilateral tools to absorb the shock. Starmer's Britain is on the wrong side of history, economically and geopolitically. youtube.com/watch?v=g64p2j…

Don't let anyone convince you that taking our water into public ownership is radical. Guess what's really radical? Privatisation of water. It is time we end this global embarrassment and nationalise our water. vist.ly/4xecf
