Have you noticed how the Honor Guard pays close attention to folding the flag? The flag is folded exactly thirteen times in remembrance of the original 13 colonies. There is also a specific meaning to each fold. Here they are...
Here is what each fold of the flag means (I think you'll see an important theme from all thirteen.):
The first fold symbolizes life.
The second fold represents a belief in eternal life.
The third fold is made in honor and remembrance of the veterans who gave their lives in defense of the country in order to help attain peace throughout the world.
The fourth fold is in recognition of the nature of the country’s citizens to trust in God.
The fifth fold is a tribute to the United States... According to Stephen Decatur, S. Naval Commander during the American Revolution and War of 1812, “Our country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right, but it is still our country, right or wrong.”
The sixth fold symbolizes where people’s hearts lie in keeping with the words of our pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
The seventh fold pays tribute to all of our Armed Forces.
After all, through our Armed Forces, the United States is protected against all enemies.
The eighth fold is a tribute to those who died, and as Psalm 23 states, “Entered into the valley of the shadow of death.”
The ninth fold honors womanhood.
The 10th fold is a tribute to fathers.
The 11th fold represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon and glorifies, in Judaism, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The 12th fold represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in the eyes of Christians, God the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost.
The 13th and last fold reminds us that when the flag is completely folded, in the uppermost corner signifies our national motto, “In God We Trust.”
Additionally, when the flag is completely folded and tucked in, the resulting shape appears like a tricorne hat and represents the soldiers who served under General George Washington, the sailors and marines who served under Naval Commander John Paul Jones and the many who have followed them in order to preserve the rights, privileges and freedoms we enjoy today.
So in the future when you see a flag folded, hopefully we will all now have a deeper understanding and appreciation of the importance and meaning of the folds.

Trump just turned the Abraham Accords into an accountability trap for the Gulf states and Iran walked right into it.
Gulf states like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey have never held Iran accountable is due to exposure. They share a neighborhood. They can't sanction, shame, or confront Iran while having zero security architecture binding them to the West or to each other.
The Abraham Accords change that math entirely. Once Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey are signatories, they aren't just recognizing Israel they are locking themselves into a collective security posture.
A breach of the Iran deal becomes their problem to call out, not just America's or Israel's. You can't sign a normalization framework and then look the other way when your new partner Israel is threatened by a nuclear Iran. The accords create skin in the game.
If Iran violates the deal, the Gulf states aren't just silent bystanders anymore. They're co-signatories of the broader peace architecture. The political cost of looking away just went from zero to enormous.
That's why markets are surging and oil is dropping. The world is pricing in something it hasn't seen in decades, a Middle East where the neighbors themselves have a structural reason to enforce the peace.

Good rainy morning from Arlington National Cemetery.
Specifically, the final resting place of your hero husband Staff Sgt. Alan Shaw.
His grave now has some fresh roses placed in front of it, alongside two American flags, a reminder that Americans truly appreciate his sacrifice.

He has done more than any other President before him. Here is a list of his impressive accomplishments:
1. First President to be photographed smoking a joint.
2. First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.
3. First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.
4. First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States.
5. First President to violate the War Powers Act.
6. First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
7. First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.
8. First President to spend a trillion dollars on "shovel-ready" jobs when there was no such thing as "shovel-ready" jobs.

Trust is the one thing a public-health system cannot manufacture in the middle of a crisis. It can only spend the trust it has already earned.
And the fastest way to burn through that trust is to project absolute confidence, silence critics, get caught being wrong, and then issue the correction in a whisper months later or never at al.
Do that often enough, and eventually they will create exactly what we have now: a country that instinctively distrusts official certainty, even in moments when the authorities may finally be telling the truth.
That may prove to be the most damaging legacy of the entire pandemic era.

Brave Americans have died for that flag and everything it represents.
So when an elected official, who is now running for Congress, turns their back on the Pledge of Allegiance, not once, but as a habit, I don't need to hear the explanation. The gesture says everything.
We can disagree on policy. That's the entire point of a government built from representatives of vastly different constituencies. Disagreement is healthy. Contempt for the country you were elected to serve is not.
There's a floor here, and it isn't complicated: if you hold public office in the United States, you owe the country basic respect.
That flag belongs to every American. And to every Veteran buried under one.
My colleagues on both sides of the aisle should be willing to say so plainly. Are you?

Before the Capitol on January 6, thousands gathered praying and singing for hours. When people arrived at the Capitol grounds, many asked officers if they were allowed to be there — and were told yes.
On the west side, countless people never entered the Capitol, never fought police, and were not acting violently when rubber bullets, pepper spray, flash bangs, and tear gas were suddenly unleashed into the crowd. The chaos and panic that followed changed everything in an instant.
So many Americans are still unwilling to believe they may have been misled by the media and the government about what truly happened that day. The narrative was decided before the full story was ever told.
People deserve truth — even when it challenges what they’ve been told for years.
It’s time to see the truth over propaganda!

We parked a floating airport on Iran’s porch, deleted their Navy/Air Force, killed all their leaders, shut down all imports/exports, took over the global flow of crude oil, negotiated deals with their allies like China, and now we are going to take all the uranium.
Anyone claiming the US “lost”, in any capacity, is either a bot or a brainwashed simpleton. Not only did Trump and the US MIL win, it was arguably the most decisive and impressive military victory in human history. The US MIL barely even suffered a scratch at the hands of the Iranians. We even recovered downed pilots deep inside enemy territory, with zero casualties.
This operation was so one-sided and precise, people hesitate to even call it a “war” because it has been more like a controlled extermination, by a vastly superior and advanced military force.
Anyone saying that we “lost”, is either knowingly or unknowingly spreading Iranian/Democrat propaganda. They aren’t serious people. Their only objective is to smear Trump by any means necessary. Reality is irrelevant to them.
