No, John. I’ve never heard anyone bring you up in any context. Whatever faint glimmer of influence you once had faded 20 years ago when you were shilling for the Iraq War and mass immigration. No one talks about you now, reads you, or cares about your opinions. That’s why you’re an elderly man reduced to tweeting at me 10 times a day begging for me to notice you. You’ve been wrong about every major issue for your entire life, killed your credibility, and now you’re doomed to live out your twilight years in irrelevance. So, no, nobody has ever told me that you find me tiresome. That would require them to know who you are and care enough to mention you, which nobody does. You have told me, though, because you’re desperate for my attention. I try not to give you what you want because I don’t generally like being mean to sad old men. But you asked a question, so this is this the answer. I hope it clears things up.

I don't think it was built on the back of slavery though, slavery was never more than single digit percentage of GDP

It's really weird, but living in LatAm for almost 1.5 years has made me much more proud to be from the USA.
It's so easy to take the United States for granted when you live there.
The efficiency, the cleanliness, the wealth, the opulence, the speed of everything. It's truly a one-of-a-kind place.
It's obviously not a perfect country, but damn, there is way too much negativity floating around the internet about the USA.
Yeah, yeah, yeah...
It's built on the back of forever wars and slavery. That's the cost of an empire.
But that aside, there's not another place on Earth with the same opportunity and access to essentially everything you'd ever need to live a good life.
I realize I'm in LatAm for now, but this is less of a reflection of the US, and more of a reflection of my own urge to travel and learn Spanish and immerse myself in other cultures.
It's truly impossible to know what your fishbowl is like if you've never left it for substantial amounts of time.

Two things are true:
(1) Israel must improve its Christian-specific P.R., and the Pizzaballa incident yesterday was another unfortunate unforced error.
(2) If you believe this was anything other than a bureaucratic mishap, you fell (again) for a deliberate disinformation op.

Anti-Israel forces ran with this non-story aided by this bishop who regularly wears the keffiyeh. Officials who have never once tweeted about the slaughter of Christians by Muslims or the burning of Christian churches suddenly jumped on the bandwagon because guess what? – Israel! The real Pizzaballagate appears to be the mass-scale propaganda push around what amounts to a low-level error by a normal cop. A lot of questions follow. Why? Who pushed it as hard as possible? Why? Why were so many ready to fall for it? Are we over-vulnerable to religious victimhood narratives? Why? How did that come to be? Was it stoked, perhaps in purpose? By whom? Same people who pushed it like crazy today? Why? How should we reflect on our own vulnerability to these narratives and media warfare attacks?

@josh_hammer Israël need to deal with the Catholic problem. So many religious group were restricted but only one felt they were above any law. Israel needs to focus on the evangelicals who have stood by them and reduce dependence on Catholics who have persecuted for millennia.

To be clear: I absolutely believe that clergy should be permitted to the sites. Clergy should be allowed to worship and serve.
That said, this is not a discriminatory policy. It is applied to all religions and needs a better solution.

→ Walkable streets, great malecon area
→ International private schools
→ Good hospital + healthcare
→ Big shopping mall, variety of restaurants
→ Very international
