Mozambique fuel crisis is even worse than the one in Ethiopia. Long queues, frustrated population. Here, fuel prices don't matter so long as there's no supply of fuel. In Kenya, we are lucky we have continuous fuel supply.

@davidmakali1 Arsenal's victory is a welcome break from perennial, consistent, and draining politicking and whining. Leave us Gunners celebrate a long-awaited victory. It's been 22 years of waiting, I might add.

I would have taken an interest if those excited arsenal fans were marching to State House, not mastur@*%&@? about the victory of some foreign team winning a foreign league with foreign players. OK, congratulations anyway.

President Ruto’s security team clearly needs to tighten up. This is now the third time a stranger has managed to rush toward the President, and this time the individual even made physical contact with him. If that person had bad intentions, the situation could have turned dangerous very quickly. The security team should realise this is becoming a repeated pattern, and sooner or later someone with harmful intentions could take advantage of these gaps. The President’s aide-de-camp should always remain close to him at all times- including during church services and public gatherings. Pole sana Mr President.

I am deeply concerned about what we are hearing about an Iran “deal,” being pushed by some voices in the administration. President Trump’s decision to strike Iran was the most consequential decision of his second term. He was right to do so, and we achieved extraordinary military results—including destroying all of their missiles & drones and sinking their entire navy. If the result of all that is to be an Iranian regime—still run by Islamists who chant “death to America”—now receiving billions of dollars, being able to enrich uranium & develop nuclear weapons, and having effective control over the Strait of Hormuz, then that outcome would be a disastrous mistake. The details are still coming out—and I pray the early reports are wrong—but the fact that Biden’s Rob Malley is praising the deal is not encouraging. President Trump believes in peace through strength, and his strong leadership has already made America much safer. He should continue to hold the line, defend America & enforce the red lines he has repeatedly drawn.

London, United Kingdom Following a series of meetings at the House of Commons, UK, this week, we this afternoon paid a courtesy call on the Kenyan High Commission in London. The meetings were geared towards deepening parliamentary diplomacy and fostering closer engagements on mutually beneficial matters between our two nations. The UK remains one of Kenya’s strategic partners and a key player in our global trade and economic development agenda.

My husband earns around 800k every month. Out of that, he gives me 200k for feeding and running the house, 60k for the children’s school needs, and another 100k for light bills, medicine, and little unexpected expenses. In total, about 360k comes into the home monthly, while he keeps the rest. Recently, I became curious about our finances and asked him how much he had saved over the years, but he avoided the conversation. Later, I checked and discovered he had about 14M saved. Honestly, after more than three years of work and all the sacrifices we’ve made as a family, I expected it to be much more. What confused me most is that my husband is not someone who spends recklessly. He eats at home most of the time, only buys lunch occasionally at work, and aside from helping family members once in a while and paying the children’s school fees, there’s nothing extravagant he does. When I asked him calmly to explain how the savings were only 14M, the conversation turned into an argument. Instead of answering me, he started bringing up my own salary and asking whether he had ever questioned the money in my account. Since then, the house has been tense and silent. This morning, he even said if I’m unhappy, I’m free to leave the marriage because he will never discuss his money with me. Now I’m honestly confused. Is it wrong for a wife to want transparency about the future of her family? Or did I overstep boundaries by checking his account and questioning his savings?
