@tfdowns @SnazzyLabs @JDVance She was actively interfering with the ICE officers, driving her vehicle to block them along with other vehicles. This has been confirmed. And I’m making the point that she felt so compelled to do so because she somehow thought that this was a good idea

@ledon_mp4 @SnazzyLabs @JDVance The driver was not actively putting herself in any dangerous position. Comments on echo chambers are unrelated to shooting. Intent of the driver cannot be ascertained as they were shot by the ICE agent while they were maneuvering their vehicle away from said agent.

This is preposterous.
First of all, she's not waving the officers through and has no right to do so even if she were. She is waving another car through, before the officers approach her car.
Second, the officers are not randomly searching her, they are approaching her vehicle because she is violating the law: namely, she is obstructing a lawful enforcement operation. You're not allowed to walk up to or drive up to people who are enforcing the law to make it harder for them to do their jobs.
Third, this defense attorney is drawing a meaningless distinction between an ICE officer and a "real police officer." Again, you're not allowed to interrupt a lawful enforcement operation, which is exactly what this woman was doing.
Fourth, the officer didn't discharge his weapon to prevent her from fleeing. When he discharged his weapon, she had pointed the vehicle at him and pressed the gas. He discharged his weapon in self defense, and other angles of the video show the woman *clearly* hit the officer with her car while accelerating.
The gaslighting is off the charts and I'm having none of it. This guy was doing his job. She tried to stop him from doing his job. When he approached her car, she tried to hit him.
A tragedy? Absolutely. But a tragedy that falls on this woman and all of the radicals who teach people that immigration is the one type of law that rioters are allowed to interfere with.

I'm a former defense attorney and currently a civil liberties attorney with no political dog in this fight. I watched the video at least 10 times from different angles and at different speeds and waited to offer an opinion, which I still reserve the right to change if additional information changes the calculus. It is very clear that the officers instigated the confrontation. The woman initially tried to wave them past her. ICE officers have no authority to search a US citizen or arrest her (unless there's probable cause to believe she's harboring undocumented individuals, not a contention here). A woman surrounded by masked, armed men who have no law enforcement authority over her has every right to try to escape. Video shows her steering wheel is turned to the right, clearly an attempt to leave WITHOUT hitting anyone and steer clear of the officer standing towards the front of her car. That officer had time to step to the side, which is where he was when he shot her. Even a real police officer would not have the right to shoot at her for trying to flee. This is well-established in the case law; deadly force may not be used simply to prevent someone from getting away. Given that the ICE officers had no law enforcement authority to begin with, AND the video footage shows she was trying to escape a perceived threat, not to kill anyone, the crime is all the more inexcusable. I'm praying for the victim's family, especially her children. I'm also praying for all the conservatives who are so unprincipled and lost they're excusing this terrible crime, and gloating over a death that will leave three young children motherless, because of the victim's politics.

The fact that someone felt the need to actively engage in interfering in law enforcement doing their jobs shows the impact of violent and dehumanizing rhetoric from leftist leadership and echo chambers that seek to bring harm to others. I pray for Renee and her family for peace

@ledon_mp4 @SnazzyLabs @JDVance That agent wasn’t pushed, the vehicle was turning away from the agent. The agent was not in danger when it pulled its gun and shot the driver.

Shows the vehicle pushing the officer, he has to push himself off the vehicle to get out of the way while firing. Additionally, she was actively interfering in law enforcement work and KNEW she was

Here's a video showing the officer was clearly "touched" Woman committing crime tries evading arrest hitting officer in front of her who fires on her killing her. By all means argue he didnt have to shoot but thats opinion after the fact

Look…It's not that hard.
The left just wants to live in an environment where taxes are high, the regulations are plentiful, the property is collective and the economy centrally planned…
No one has guns except the police, who no longer exist because no one is illegal so prisons aren't needed.
The men are women, the women are men and the kids are trans…
The day care centers are plentiful, but kids are not, because abortion is free.
All lives matter except for straight white males who are literally Hitler and land acknowledgments are spoken before every sporting event where the score is never kept…
And the rest of us?
Well the rest of us would like to live somewhere about as opposite to what I just described as possible.
So maybe it's time to just divvy up the states between us. Allow everyone the option to move to one zone or the other and then conduct the same kind of experiment that North and South Korea did…
Then we can check back in 30 years and figure out which one is a thriving high trust society and which one is a degenerate failed state incapable of being seen from space at night…except maybe for the mostly peaceful glow of its cities burning to the ground.

Knowing that the left won't stay peaceful…
Knowing that if this man is married his wife is in danger…
Knowing that is he is a father, his kids are now in danger…

@TheQuartering Less than 200 cases that had a “wrongful detaining” and ICE immediately released those mistakenly arrested. There are single digits of cases where people were “wrongfully deported” and those are questionable at best. These account for less than 0.4% of ICE incidents since 1/2025
