This is the closest overturned call we've seen so far. An ⅛ of a millimeter farther outside and it's a ball.

#Marlins practiced this a bunch during Spring Training. It's a way to get rid of a speedier runner on the basepaths and/or see if the batter is caught napping and not running the play out.

You make the call: should pitches that are 99.9%+ out of the zone like this be a strike?

Katherine Schwarzenegger celebrates marriage: “I do need my husband” ♥ She shared a video of Chris Pratt building a dollhouse for their daughters with a caption that playfully pushed back on the feminist notion of not needing a man. “I'll never understand when women say ‘I don't need my husband’ when I very much in fact do need my husband because who else would build our daughters a doll house?”

about as close as it gets

Umpire incompetence or a Rulebook/ABS Mismatch issue? 🤔 This pitch may have been both: -a Strike according the rulebook strike zone (3 dimensional/starting at the front of the plate), and -a Ball, according to ABS (2 dimensional/measured at the middle of the plate).
