@fionalstuart @ClaudiaWinkle Ooh I bet your fun at parties. That’s the whole point of game. Fuck off & shut the door on your way out.
English

Wow, first time watching #TheTraitors and what a horrible programme it is. Stephen and Rachel proud of themselves for lying to and manipulating people, and a whole audience applauding them for it. That’s not entertainment #BBC @ClaudiaWinkle

@leedevenny Hi there! Thanks for getting in touch with us. Adelaide v Melbourne City will remain suspended for the remainder of the match due to persistent scout issues. Sorry about that! Have a great day and all the best!

@leedevenny @henrywinter There you go …..after the article already said we shouldn’t let the incident get mired in tribalism, you do exactly that. Knob 🤮

Just watched Howard Webb on Mic’d Up and I’m even more confused over why Virgil van Dijk’s header was ruled out. The controversy cannot mask that Liverpool were deservedly tonked by a superior Manchester City, that Arne Slot’s team and tactics were all over the place and that all clubs have similarly questionable decisions go against them.
This debate shouldn’t become mired in tribalism, but focus on the need for the best league in the world to have the best officiating. Football doesn’t belong to Stockley Park but to fans and players, who deserve the whole execution of VAR to be improved.
The controversy highlights that officials need to be more consistent and PGMO come up with more convincing explanations. The audio from officials emphasised Andy Robertson being “in line of vision” of Gianluigi Donnarumma, even “directly in front of him” which wasn’t the case. As Webb himself acknowledged, Donnarumma “does see the ball all the way”. If anyone was inhibiting Donnarumma’s line of vision it was his team-mate, Jeremy Doku. And is Robertson’s ducking “an obvious action which clearly impacted an opponent’s ability to play the ball”? Clearly not, he was away from Donnarumma.
There are good officials in the Premier League; the fact that some are deployed by Fifa and Uefa to handle challenging games abroad (international and European competitions) reflects that. It’s also good that Webb shows accountability and attempts to explain decisions, even if many people, and not just Liverpool fans, feel the explanations in-game and on Mic’d Up don’t add up.
The decision has been and gone, the focus will soon move on to another game and another controversy. VAR is here to stay. It's the standard of some officiating, and execution of the technology, that still needs work. #MCILIV #LFC
