Success! Even though MacOS identifies it as a HD 7770, Metal is enabled, the GPU works. Best $45 I’ve ever spent. Time to go buy the other parts.

After furious googling, I found this. Ah, I needed a special Whatevergreen boot arg for the GPU!

MacOS install on Proxmox was largely uneventful, until It reached the first run setup stage and I encountered video corruption! 😰 The entire screen was glitchy, except the black mouse pointer. I thought I ended up with a lemon of a GPU.

For my birthday this year, I’m going to build a 5950X Ryzentosh. 😅 Would have loved to see a M1 chip with more silicon budget spent on compute cores rather than GPU cores, but alas, it is what it is.

pbxproj really needs to die. But I’m not sure if Package.swift is any better.
