@NoahB77_ Completely agree! For YEARS it was not only accepted, but good coaching taught players to run inside the line (and often on the grass), to force a more difficult throw. Same for running any other base and being taught to ‘flare’ out into the ’throwing lane’

The runners lane from home to 1st remains the dumbest rule in baseball. The right handed batters box is in fair territory, the fastest way to get to first base is by running in a straight line. It’s on the defense if they can’t make a simple throw & catch

@RickSantini2 @TexansCommenter you don’t know he is switching positions... he is likely to be starting RT game 1. Plenty of serviceable guard options left out there that would also be an upgrade over howard… who was below average to average (at best), and WAY overpaid

Everyone clamored for Ed Ingram to be re-signed. And that was at a $15-$18 million price range and he gets signed and the $12 million range and now all of a sudden it’s a bad deal simply because he was on the OL last year

@TexansCommenter It’s as simple as resigning players from a bad Oline no matter how good they were in that scheme is seen as a bad thing, but trading away players from a bad Oline is also seen as a bad thing. So idk what these guys actually want the Texans to do
