Here's why @playcambria was the greatest experience I've ever had in crypto 🧵(1/4): Ok, so I just got Twitter Premium, something I've never once considered doing, just to share the experience I've had over the last 48h with the world. Look, most of us in this space are gamers. We're PC nerds that eventually came to the realization that we have to monetize our addiction. Growing up, my first real experience of online gaming was OSRS, the game which Cambria is openly, heavily inspired by. I remember waking up every morning, not being able to contain my excitement for logging back onto the game. There was a sense of purpose. "Today is going to be the day I'm going to hit level 99 in fletching" (easiest skill to max lol), so that I could prove to all my mates that I was, in fact, the superior child. Many of us tried playing OSRS as adults, and many of us still do play it, but despite the game being in a better state than ever, that feeling of purpose for logging in, the excitement that it brought, has faded a long time ago for most of us. i think it’s absolutely hilarious that some of your favorite KOLs are bragging about turning down 300k job offers while they probably never held a proper 9-5 for more than 6 months. i get that it’s a joke but these are the same people who spend their day on CT bull posting prediction markets, flexing their Polymarket or Kalshi badges like a medal of honor. knowing full well the platforms are getting free marketing out of them while they engagement farm. we exist in a beautifully parasitic ecosystem of delusion.

Good morning, I’ll get straight to the point… Last Friday we saw a massive liquidity shock in crypto some coins crashed 98% in a single wick. The next few days are crucial. If the market doesn’t recover, it’s over for many. I’ve had multiple DMs, and I honestly feel terrible for everyone who got liquidated. But I need to be real with you how can your entire portfolio be in leverage trades? Leverage trading is a real casino. When it goes up, everyone’s euphoric, but now you see the other side. And why didn’t you take profits from the past weeks? Is it greed? Or that “small wallet, I want to make it big fast” mindset? I’ve only ever deposited from my bank to crypto once one time and it was a small bag. If you want to make it in crypto with a small bag, you’ll have to sacrifice a lot. A lot. In the past few weeks, we’ve had several spot calls that did 6x or more. So how are you not in profit? Yes, my spot bags also took a hit but profits are profits, and they go back to the bank. I always reinvest only a small portion of my gains. We had: $HemI $STBL $Aster $NPT (still doing great one of the les green coins ready for new ath!) $MOE (already did a 2x and still looks solid) And some more Crypto is about risk management It breaks my heart to see people lose everything because of leverage. But really why? Never invest money you can’t afford to lose.

$ASTER Lots of news and data coming in that changes my decision to hold this trade any longer- just 8 hours past previous tweet but it is what it iz given the circumstances. All that has happened in the past 8 hours: -Airdrop announced for 10th October (full unlock) -4% distributed equally among 4 epochs (previously miscommunicated by the team to be variable) -Epoch 1 farmers will make over $30k per 1M points (106x return) -Epoch 4 witnessed a large sum of wash trading to inflate airdrop value coming at about $100 per 1M points(-3.5x return) -DefiLama detected anomalies and removed aster from perp volume tracker. -Aster discord is a mess, mods are not responding and people are offramping. -Buyback announced (no details) From here onwards, the impact is completely dependent on the buy back announcement, specifically tilted towards how much it is going to be. Until that, I am not repositioning into this position.
