South Korea and Taiwan economies are both insanely well positioned for the new paradigm. Full western supply chain integration, full access to mainland manufacturing, low birth rate and immigration so no welfare burden, self-referential pop culture so no pressure to go overseas, no dependence on tourism.

Admission expert here: You didn't get into Harvard because your stats are top 5-10% among Asian Americans- nothing special. Your extracurriculars are basic vanilla striver stuff. Other Asians win Olympics gold, STEM Olympiad gold. Chess junior world championships. You were captain of your local boyscouts and a starter in your school's titleless volleyball team. Who cares? Your essay is also the same old cliché "I needed to prove that I'm not an Asian stereotype" whining that every Asian stereotype does. At the end of the day- we just can't admit only Asians. They'd take over America in the long-term. We need to brainwash Blacks and Hispanics too- and send them to all corners of the world to secure the empire's thought-leader dominance. You are Asian American. A typical Asian American if I may add. You compete against other Asian Americans. And you don't stand out among them. But hey, Duke is also one heck of a school.
