Are there still people here who can talk to me about retirement homes for respite in Ontario?
My mum needs respite for a bit due to an injury but I need to know what to expect/look for/avoid.

@mattfromnl Yeah they’re all locked so you need a scan card (so I still use them but no one else does). They open for fire but nothing else so hopefully no one ever brings a gun to the hospital!

@DaraMBarrett It's systemic. There are employees doing their absolute best with what they have. But if that's not rewarded, or not impacting, then what's the point?

It’s actually insane how badly the HSC is run. If I were premier the first thing I’d do is a thorough management review. People are not doing their jobs and it’s so widespread it has to be a management issue, not individual employees, responsible.
