@nursekelsey I do this with food and water, and my stomach eventually is like "Listen, we're trying our best here, but kidney and blood sugar land are getting upset and we are not a messenger service between organs, PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER".

The big idea: should we drop the distinction between mental and physical health? “The current false dichotomy holds back research and stigmatises patients.” ⁦@guardiantheguardian.com/books/2022/sep…

@maosbot I used to make these in a rice cooker with a sautee function, done in 15 minutes and delicious!

I feel your documentation saying “our root certificate, which has a unique key pair” is like saying “the food we serve, which is not poisoned”

If you've ever spent an hour trying to track down a vital research paper, only to find it behind a paywall charging more than $40/view with no download allowed, you know what this means.
ScienceInsider@ScienceInsider

BREAKING: White House issues new policy that will require, by 2026, all federally-funded research results to be freely available to public without delay, ending longstanding ability of journals to paywall results for up to 1 year. Coverage coming on @ScienceInsider.

@Wikisteff I stopped using autocorrect and predictive text years ago as a mindfulness tool, I wanted what I typed to be what I meant down to the letter even if it took longer. Don't regret it one bit.

One downside of autocorrect is that my fingers and cerebellum are relying on autocorrect to fix errors automatically. That means that I'm routinely typing things like "nomthly", which despite its name, is not about noms.

Africa’s fastest man, Ferdinand Omanyala, got his US visa 24 hrs before the race of his life. A flight from Kenya to Oregon is 18+ hrs. He has 3hrs after landing to clear customs, get to the arena, pick accreditation, warm up, then compete with the other (well-rested) athletes.
