NaPO participated in the national tree planting day at Hulahula, Marsabit County under the theme "15 billion ni Wajibu wa kila Mkenya" and in line with Kenya's ambitious race towards achieving 30% National tree cover by 2032.

From the words of Ms. Ibrahim, we learn that implementing NbS requires full engagement and consent of the indigenous and local community.🌻 INUKA explored this while in the study visit with the NaPO team as they involve the community in restoring their ecosystem.🌲 #y4n #nbs

FMNR, is a system used in the drylands that involves the re-growth of existing trees with the ability to grow as a sprout again 🌱. INUKA field visit in Marsabit explored how NaPO team utilizes FMNR to restore tree cover🌿 that the community has embraced.

We hosted 18 inspiring youths from @inukaafrika_ for their third study visit on Nature based solutions (NBS). The team visited our Ramat project which is focused on supporting community-driven natural regeneration. #INUKAAfrika #Ramat #NaturalRegeneration #FMNR @Y4Nature
