At 5pm yesterday, President Ruto was still in Kimilili, and by 7pm, two hours later, he was in Nairobi having a meeting with Chinese contractors who will be constricting Naivasha-Malaba SGR that he will launch this morning!! If the disorganised opposition thinks Ruto is an easy opponent, they better think again... In less than 30 hours alone, Ruto had crisscrossed at least 15 places in his Western Kenya development tour. And you expect him to add weight?!! And these places are where other presidential candidates never visit, yani ndani kabisa where votes are.... Ruto's strategy is to go to places where others overlook. Opposition, on the other hand holds one big rally in Kitengela, one in Kakamega, one in Mombasa, and declare that Kenyans have decided it is Wantam, oleskia wapi.

Many Kenyans have reached a painful conclusion: William Ruto has positioned himself against the very people he was elected to serve. When a leader presides over rising taxes, shrinking opportunities, intimidation of critics, and the capture of public institutions, he stops looking like a servant of the people and starts looking like the chief obstacle to their freedom and prosperity. The anger boiling across the country is not manufactured. It is the natural reaction of citizens who feel cornered in their own nation. Youth without jobs, businesses suffocating under policy chaos, and families crushed by the cost of living are asking the same question: whose side is this government on? A government that treats dissent as a crime and citizens as subjects is writing its own political obituary. The message from the ground is becoming clearer every day the people are mobilising organizing, and preparing to answer at the ballot.

It’s high time the Kenya Revenue Authority audited Oga Obina. For someone who isn’t even the biggest YouTube streamer in Kenya, he is clearly swimming in unexplained cash.

Mr President you were silent when patients were starving and going without medication at Kenyatta National Hospital and remain mumb on the imminent collapse of MTRH in Eldoret. SHA just lost 11B. If it is about the people or dealing with conmen and fraudsters, where are your priorities? @KNH_hospital @MTRHofficial @WilliamsRuto

I watched Citizen TV Daybreak today, and something an MP said should concern every Kenyan. In 2023/2024, a senior leader reportedly acquired a tile company in Isinya. In December 2024, Parliament passed amendments adding a 5% excise duty on imported tiles framed as “protecting local industry.” Before this, tiles cost less than KSh 500. After the changes, imported tiles rose to KSh 900-1,000. Today, they are selling at KSh 1,300-1,400. At the same time, the locally owned company is selling tiles at those same high prices. So let’s be honest about what happened: A leader enters the industry. A policy is passed that limits competition. Prices rise across the board. And the biggest beneficiary is that same leader. This is how Kenyans have been quietly turned into economic slaves, not through force, but through policies that leave them with no choice but to pay more. This is exploitation, structured and legal. And if this is what is happening today, then 2027 is not just another election, it is the moment Kenyans decide whether leaders will serve the people… or the people will continue serving the leaders.
