@ghostliaugust the thing is that s2 from the paris flashbacks to the season finale laid the groundwork to capture his character in tvl perfectly but they played. and it's to the detriment of all characters and events they've previously shown cause a lot of things just don't make sense now😭

@lepetitcoups !!! I really used to like Armand but these choices are making me like him less and less. But that doesn't change the fact that atp Lestat, Louis and by extention Claudia have had their characters twisted in some way *for* him.

"the coven was twisting my arm about it" bc apparently he can't even have that for himself on the show, didn't torture and kidnap lestat to force him to testify, everything he does to lestat in tvl erased, revenge porn of lestat also being a group project with daniel.

What the fuck do you mean by ‘Armand sanitization’. The show took the trial and skewed it into a racially charged spectacle of a lynching by adding Louis in the mix, THEN had Armand saying he took aesthetic pleasure in it LMFAOOOOOOO. NONE of that is book canon

s4ep7 reveal: lestat was actually the one plotting with the coven and armand just found himself stuck in A Situation. followed by lestat's apology to armand for not wanting a relationship a century earlier bc everything was consensual and nothing bad ever happened between them.

fans are gonna tell you that armand's sanitization isn't happening at the expense of other characters and then they're gonna pull the trial being one of armand's crimes that lestat is suddenly going 50/50 on with him. isn't that funny?
