EMOTIONAL NIGHT LAST NIGHT: I went to McDonald’s for a quick meal, a place I rarely visit, but I’ve been cooped up at home due to this virus and my recent knee surgery. When I got to the drive-thru, a young man handed me my coffee. I noticed the cuts on his wrists, and tears started flowing. When he returned with my food, he looked at me and asked, “Sir, are you okay?” I replied, “I’ll be okay if you promise me to keep fighting. I can see your peace has been drained and your happiness has been stolen, but God is preparing to grant you a joy that can never be taken from you.” I pulled away and sat in the parking lot to collect myself. About five minutes later, that young man came running out to my car, tears streaming down his face, asking me to pray with him. He said it was the first day in four years that he felt alive and cared for. That day, he gave his life to Christ! I’ll be meeting his parents later this week to help him get the support he needs. Church doors may be closed, but God is still moving. Please continue to pray for our young people. We are all in this together! Credit to the rightful owner
