@LukeEpplin They should just abolish the leagues at this point. No sense in keeping them around.

Here's how old I am: I feel dismayed that the Opening Day matchup of Major League Baseball will feature an American League team versus a National League team.

@Nati_Sports @MLB Traditionally Washington always had the first game where the president would throw out the first pitch.

Friendly reminder: The @MLB season shouldn't technically start until the Cincinnati Reds have played the first game. Fix this.

Dear @Nike I noticed an error on one of your #Reds products. The Reds were est. in 1882, not 1869. You see, the Red Stockings disbanded after 1870. The Reds were born from the AA in 1882. Easy mistake to make. I trust you'll recall these shirts and fix mistake. Your pal, Cam

Name a random leadoff hitter. Could be a legend… could be a guy only real fans remember. Let’s see how deep your baseball memory goes.

Name a player — not named Derek Jeter or Cal Ripken Jr. — that you respect the most for staying loyal to one team for their entire career. In an era of constant movement, those guys are rare. Who’s your pick? 👇⚾ Bonus points if you watched them their whole career.

No matter how much I wipe, it never gets clean. Thinking of getting a bidet but don't know how to pass it off to the partner as anything other than a 40 year person seemingly incapable of wiping their own arse.

@DaireCarragher Lambeau has heaters under the field so it doesn’t really get that cold for the players. Only the fans really suffer there.

There is a world not too far away where a team plays every single regular season game indoors then must go to Lambeau in January to play in the freezing cold.

@Worm02 So the game should have been over. Replaying the down and giving Perkins another chance was wrong. My previous statements were wrong, defender reacted to the inadvertent whistle and the defense shouldn't be penalized for that.

@leroygorham Not how football works buddy. He was moving with the ball. The play wasn't dead.

So much to unpack here... 1. Sandusky Perkins trailed Galion 17-14 with a few seconds remaining. 2. Perkins throws an interception in the end zone.  3. Afterward, the Galion player celebrated by running out of the end zone without ever hitting the ground or being touched and he eventually dropped the ball. 4. A player from Perkins picked the ball up and ran it into the end zone for what should've been a touchdown. 5. Instead of giving Perkins credit for a touchdown, the refs gave them an untimed down, which was an incomplete pass. I'd be PISSED if I was Perkins!

@Worm02 So the back judge blew his whistle after the interception. Officials determine the whistle was inadvertent (which is was). The remedy is that the team in possession gets to decide to accept the result of the play (game over) or replay the down.

@Worm02 It’ll be interesting to see if this is addressed in the weekly officials newsletter from the state. It also appears the inadvertent whistle rule was not applied correctly.

@Worm02 It was at least 15 seconds from the interception to when the offense got the ball. The play was over.

@leroygorham Galion player was never “gave himself up,” so he wasn’t down. Refs knew they blew it.
