Was Mike Zimmer overhated by the end of his career in Minnesota? He won playoff games with Kirk Cousins, Case Keenum and was a missed field goal away from one with Teddy Bridgewater. It wasn’t perfect but Zim faced a lot of adversity in his tenure in Minnesota.

KO won 13 games with the league’s worst defense and 14 games only to play a road playoff game. Things are a little different now.

@VikingsNewsSkol Zimmer was a shit HC. In football for 35 yrs and had 1, only 1 top defense, yet was touted as best D guy in the league. Took a miracle to win a game with 20 pnt lead in 4th qrt. If he didnt hate his offense he might have been a good coach.

@VikingsNewsSkol Mike had a great defense for 4 years and had a little success. Lost a playoff game on a fluke missed FG and won one on a fluke TD catch. The one playoff game he won outright, probably hurt the organization more than helped it too.

I’m a grown man. Why would I dislike Deion because of Zim lol I’ve been fans of Deion and Shedeur since I was a kid at Prime21 camps. I already said in interviews to remove the names. It’s not about DW, SS, DG, etc. The NFL in most cases is based on how much you are paying someone and where someone is drafted. So again, remove the names and call the QB: Person A, Person B etc and I would still have the same stance.

It's really unfortunate because the Minnesota Timberwolves pretty much solidified themselves as the better team in this series, but injury luck is a very real and unavoidable thing.
