Some news… I’m truly honoured to have been nominated as the next Deputy Lord Mayor of Belfast. Growing up in Turflodge, I never dreamt I’d have the chance to represent our city in this way. I’ll continue to be on the ground in communities, tackling the issues people face day in, day out. But this role also gives me a platform - to stand up for those too often left behind and to celebrate everything that makes this city such a special place. Looking forward to getting stuck in!

I am sick of seeing people commenting on videos or stories with Travellers in calling us all criminals or worse. It's the same old stories regurgitated every time. When I counter with stories of Dale Cregan or Myra Hindley, they then resort to name calling. It's baffling.
