How to set CP24 as your preferred source on Google cp24.com/faq/2026/03/05…
English

@dazza1639 @erfmufn Thanks for the info, finally got mine up and running. Need to tinker around in the settings for a bit before putting it back into my enclosure. Cheers!
English

@lethbridge @erfmufn Just the standard raspberry pi os as described in Dylan’s video. I watched quite a few different YouTube videos
English

Inspired by Dylan’s @erfmufn video I have built my own DIY #allsky camera. I didn’t use a poo pipe though. Hope you are doing ok mate! youtu.be/pN4XNNMMjl8?si…

@dazza1639 @erfmufn Curious which Pi OS you used? I used Pi OS Lite, and it was an absolute nightmare even getting to the indi dashboard. So many dependencies were missing. Starting over now but was hoping for some OS input before I tear it all down.
English

@lethbridge @erfmufn That’s what I’m running with a 128mb SD card
English

@dazza1639 @erfmufn Then I see no reason to not give it a try. Thanks Darren!
English

@erfmufn @dazza1639 I didn't know the Indi project existed. I've been using the TJ allsky for the last 2 years, but I'm curious to test out Indi myself. Hoping a Pi 4b with 4gb of RAM is sufficient for Indi.
English

@dazza1639 Nice work ! The indi-allsky project is neat huh?
English

@SfcRetired2014 Fantastic results, I started 2025 at 296, got down to 229 but then had a major surgery which has kept me limited in activity for the last 6 weeks, gained a bit which I expected, but started losing again now. Currently at 237. Goal is 185

@clarkjames7000 @afneil I couldn't agree more. Add to that the influence on the media, and it makes it difficult to vote them out. Every metric shows life in Canada is so much worse than before, but the media reports Carney is doing a great job, and he is somehow enjoying a massive approval rating.
English

@lethbridge @afneil Unfortunately so. The left like to dumb down education and use it for indoctrination so they’ll have a dumb, poor enough population to vote for them in future.
Sad but true
English

So you price young people out of the labour market with huge rises in the minimum wage and national insurance.
Then you subsidise employers to employ young people.
Government is brilliant. Simply brilliant.
The Telegraph@Telegraph
🔴 The Telegraph understands that Pat McFadden will announce on Monday that employers will receive a £3,000 taxpayer subsidy for hiring under-25s who have been on Universal Credit for more than six months Find out more ⬇️ telegraph.co.uk/business/2026/…
English

@clarkjames7000 @afneil Just like in Canada!!! And we are definitely stupid enough here!
English

@afneil Standard left wing policy, same as they do to individuals, to make the, reliant on the state.
That’s how they maintain power (in countries where enough of the population is stupid enough)

@Cynthia95001250 @CP24 Post-election messaging encouraging Libs to adopt Conservative ideas
Pierre also publicly encouraged the government to adopt Conservative policy proposals.
He said he hoped the Libs would “steal” Conservative ideas (such as proposals related to the carbon tax or economic policy).
English

@Cynthia95001250 @CP24 June 20, 2025 — Conservatives vote for a Liberal government bill
The Conservative caucus supported a government bill in Parliament.
Conservatives voted in favour of Bill C-5, legislation aimed at removing interprovincial trade barriers and speeding infrastructure projects.
English

What’s driving PM Carney’s ability to court floor crossers? cp24.com/news/canada/20…
English

@Cynthia95001250 @CP24 I'm well aware of that, and I know floor crossings are allowed, but at the election, his mandate was to function as a minority government and work with the oppositions. He's trying to avoid having to work with the oppositions, which is against the will of the Canadian electorate.
English

@lethbridge @CP24 He's not. This is how our system works.
PP voted to continue to allow floor crossings, btw. So did Harper. They Cons only squawk when the floor crossing doesn't serve them.
English

@mark_slapinski How about the people who made it this bad get the fuck out instead?
English

@TLNewmanMTL If they don't trigger by-elections, at the very least the floor crosser should not be allowed a vote in the HOC until the next federal election.
English

Sometimes it takes the abuse of a rare process to see it needs to be changed. This is the case with floor crossings. These should automatically trigger byelections. We live in a representative democracy with parties who have equal MPs and leaders the parties can change at any time. Canada was not built for the likes of parties with leaders who would lure MPs, constituents votes and representative democracy be damned.
