@DaveEderer @DaveEderer Thanks for the feedback! We're strongly opposed to repaving streets without safety improvements. Welcome any edits to make that clearer! We're working to get an amendment to add walk/bike infrastructure to these projects. Have you contacted ATL Council or Mayor yet?

@ATL311 Wheelchair users struggle to safely cross this sidewalk at 2867 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy—residents have even tipped over trying to navigate the gap.

@JeffDelp @MBStadium Yep. Has been an issue both times I've used the valet. The people working the valet were complaining about it too yesterday. Really seems like there should be a better solution.

Has anyone else experienced this at the #bikevalet at @MBStadium ?
Users of the valet are not allowed to cross the street at the point of the valet. But are asked to go „to the crosswalk for safety reasons“
However, the „officers“ have parked their cars AND there is a gate ..

Forever just trying to design bike lanes that I can ride side by side with my favourite person.

What can we learn from this? We don’t need years-long consultation processes before initial rapid deployment of lanes. Get the cheap, quick, win. Prove the usage, then adjust and harden the infrastructure when there is a chance to bundle it with other road works. Repeat.
