sucks how theres no major cities in Canada near Vancouver so high speed rail here is impossible unless we wanna work with the US to build one connecting the 3 major PNW cities. But with the US going crazy now I think that project has never been more dead

@TheChaosWeeber @noemiemakesmaps deviating the entire line like that to serve a small town is doing too much. they already have via service, just upgrade that. connecting the major cities is what matters most.

@narukefeeder @SinangSunMoon @FatalTora well obviously in cases of self defense, etc. but in video games, you usually kill just for the fun of it. doesn't make u a killer. both are morally wrong and awful IN REAL LIFE. fiction is not real life. at the end of the day why and how u engage with taboos is what matters.

It's so insane to me that people still don't know that Goyuu is the biggest JJK ship in japan and are surprised by it having physical doujinshis. This is just average anime culture... #goyuu #jjk #jujutsukaisen

@SinangSunMoon @FatalTora Then what exactly are you referring to when making a statement like that? Also it’s closed minded to think fiction dosent reflect/affect morality esp with how one engages in it 💀

Over 800,000 residential units are currently proposed or approved across the City of Toronto, with the highest concentration of height and density planned in the Downtown Core. A look at the city's future skyline:

@Tiramisu7667 @connor__peters @FutureModelTO Density does punish drivers. I never said it didn’t. Using Tokyo again, the mode share for commuting via private car is less than 10%, so traffic is affecting substantially less people even if it does exist. In LA, nearly everyone has to deal with it.

@lettuceor3 @connor__peters @FutureModelTO How else would you measure traffic? The time it takes to get from X to Y seems like a good indicator. You’re basically saying density punishes drivers, thanks for proving my point 😂

@Tiramisu7667 @connor__peters @FutureModelTO Okay, the factors for having bad traffic is usually poorly planned density without proper infrastructure (mostly rail lines) to get more people off the roads. If density was as bad as you say, why is Tokyo, an extremely dense city, in the 100s on your unerring ranking.

@Tiramisu7667 @connor__peters @FutureModelTO You’re the one looking at everything through a vacuum. Everything isn’t black and white and it’s alarming that you don’t understand that. Low density sprawl isn’t economical or sustainable. This isn’t feelings it’s facts. I don’t need to spoonfeed you something you can search up

@lettuceor3 @connor__peters @FutureModelTO The data proves you wrong, your ignorance does not disprove data. You can’t guarantee shit, because you’ve provided no data contradicting my claims other than recycled dogma. Low density sprawl is the best, and you won’t stop it here.

@Tiramisu7667 @connor__peters @FutureModelTO also the link you provided is data from a GPS company that has been irrelevant for 15 years. the list is known to fluctuate dramatically every year. and they’re measuring time to travel 10km so denser cities are punished more. not a good metric anyway.

@Tiramisu7667 @connor__peters @FutureModelTO densification increases traffic on paper but it doesn’t matter. in dense cities, most people go by transit, biking, or walking. In car dependent sprawling cities, there is no choice but driving. I guarantee the average person in Houston experiences more traffic than one in Tokyo

@Tiramisu7667 @connor__peters @FutureModelTO ...you cannot be serious. that graph is comparing the US to underdeveloped countries where there isn't sufficient transit. Houston and LA have god awful traffic and they're low density. Compare major US cities with dense cities of developed countries. Paris, Tokyo, etc...
