Say what you will about @Cbb0fe, he is the best account to follow for a play-by-play on what it’s like to go from having nothing to having built wealth of many many many millions of dollars.
Lots of the themes are there:
- the motivation decline that can come w wealth.
- the “what’s it all for” reflections
- friends treating him differently
- everyone else acting differently
- people trying to leach and the frustration that goes with it
- changing the lives of family members
Etc etc.

@gmuchineripi @jacksonhinkle Yeah George they've been on the sidelines the whole time, haven't done a thing.
English

@jacksonhinkle So Israel setup USA to bomb Iran on its behalf now they are watching on the sidelines as everything unfolds.

@CdmxCiudad @theepicmap “The Zionist entity” the country that shall no be named? Palestine is as real as Narnia. Gaza, the West Bank, those are real places. Having said that, yeah I don’t know any popes that were born in Israel 🇮🇱
English

@theepicmap *🇵🇸 Palestine: 3
No Pope has been ever born in the zionist entity

@BAYC5511 @skorch @DCinvestor Dude that’s Gaza health ministry nonsense. But hey, if you want to prove a point you’ll find a graph to show it. Kids dying it awful, show me an Israeli that’s proud of that… you won’t. Go look at October 7th videos you boob. Raped and killed. Civilians, unprovoked.
English

@BAYC5511 @skorch @DCinvestor From the river to the sea? That’s shits been chanted for like 50 years. Do you also think Israel targets kids and hospitals? War is messy but don’t confuse good and bad. Israel is a safe democracy, Gaza is a hell hole by every measure, and that’s by their own doing not Israel’s.
English

@wizardofsoho @Israel Israel has almost 2m Muslims, citizens, voters, judges, politicians in the Knesset. It’s crazy and sounds funny I guess but that’s the truth.
English

We wish Eid al-Fitr Mubarak to all our Muslim friends in Israel and around the world #EidMubarak.
May this holiday bring peace, joy, and shared hope for brighter days ahead.

It’s the year 2028 and private equity-backed HVAC & Plumbing companies are selling for 35x EBITDA

@DCinvestor When did someone take over this account? Eth max to political commentator over a month.

my fellow Americans:
don’t indulge their race baiting
don’t believe the right is irredeemably evil
don’t believe the left is inherently wicked
don’t let them make you hate one religious or ethnic group because you were told to
the powers that be want us as divided as possible for what comes next, that is to say when they throw us away like a discarded husk, so that we then become as weak as possible
we must not allow that to happen

@Will_Schryver @WilsonCompanies In Florida I was competing for an hvac service business that had similar numbers. Offers came in 9-12x and I wasn’t invited to best and final. Deal fell through because the owner had a suspicious history but nevertheless crazy offers came in. This was 6 months ago.
English

@WilsonCompanies That’s what I told him. He’s still hanging on to the fact that “his competitor sold for 10x” back in 2021-22
English

6x - 8x EBITDA is consensus for this residential HVAC company, not 10x
One Private Equity group offered him 10x
50% cash at close
20% note (tied to performance)
30% rolled equity (tied to performance)
He passed
The other private equity offers he received were in the 6x - 8x, all with 20% - 30% rolled equity
Suffice to say, he hasn’t sold and is still holding out for 10x
Will Schryver@Will_Schryver
Friend of mine is willing to sell his HVAC company and wants to get 10x EBITDA ~$6 million Revenue / ~$1.5 million EBITDA (25%) 100% Residential w/ 0% construction What do you think private equity would pay?
English

@Will_Schryver 25 ebidta margins don’t scale and are probably exaggerated. 20% is where he should be if he’s a strong operator. 6M rev, 1.2 in ebidta.
English

@icobeast thanks for sharing the accounts with the name cropped out ur actually goated for that. it’s probably the coolest thing i've seen in my life, you posted alpha CT accounts on crypto twitter but you cropped out the name of the account i love solving riddles thats fire bro thanks.

@Will_Schryver 1. Ebidta margins probably won’t cross 20% but 750k in ebidta would trade for 5x-7x in Florida. Cross 2m and 12x is reasonable.
2. 2x-3x and I haven’t seen many people searching for thisz
English

What EV/EBITDA multiple would you pay for these companies?
Residential HVAC
$3M Revenue / $750K EBITDA (25% margin)
Commercial HVAC
$12M Revenue / $3M EBITDA (25% margin)
Residential
- 0% Construction
- $0 Backlog / visibility in earnings
- 100% Service & Replacement
- 0% Project based
Commercial
- 100% Construction
- $12M Backlog
- 0% Service
- 100% Project based
