@EngleseaBrook A local hero in North Staffs. I have one of these brass tokens. It's said he died of exhaustion from the coal strike of 1912. You can visit his grave in Burslem cemetery. Taking the miners from Lib to Lab was massive. There's a small bust of him in @PotteriesMuseum

I'm looking for stats on a condition and a 2023 report has a useful figure. Its source is an article from 2019. Their source is a 2012 article. Their source is a 2006 article. And their data is current up to 2001. So these numbers are not as useful as I'd hoped
