This is my lentil soup i made, weeks ago. One of the few dishes I actually liked the taste of. 🫘 Maybe i’ll add garlic and shredded onions. 🧄🧅 Learned making salt pork like the 2nd photo and it helps with my cooking because i have a hard time keeping track of food before it spoils. 🥓 Worried about high blood pressure though… 👽 If i get a plane ticket, I’m going back to japan for whole of july and i have 2 full jars of salt pork that i hope won’t spoil during that time… 🙏 (Historical records say they last for a whole year even without refrigeration.)

@b4dchan Plato respect 🙏🛐 Even marxists.org page on utopian socialism tells incorrectly that plato imagined a caste society based on fixed professions. The professions, bronze-silver-gold thing were based on one’s abilities and not of birth.

The democratic presentation of Plato's Regime, which is all most people know of it, is that it enforced a kind of caste system bcs "the baker bakes, the tailor sews"; but Plato's point is that every cook can govern, but the tailor doesn't get to tell the baker how to cook!
