Not a surprise at all. #DeJoy has served nearly 5 years, about average for a PMG. While some important tasks have been accomplished -- smooth #electionmail e.g., the Delivering for America plan has not worked, even with substantial taxpayer help, a new direction is clearly needed.

I have said in the past, that this war is not an excuse to do something, but rather an opportunity to do it faster. Before the war we planned gradual automation. But now - we will get to 100% automated operations within 2024. Today we at @ukrposhta are launching our first 100% automated sorting center “Kyiv - Right” which can process over 400K parcels per day and will open 20+ sorting hubs within the next 3-4 months. We need to provide Ukraine with dependable, economically accessible delivery and we will make it happen @OlKubrakov

And the results are now out, apparently a $2.0 billion quarterly loss (in what is supposed to be the best quarter) though USPS seems to think we are still in FY 2023, which ended 4+ months ago. Full release: about.usps.com/newsroom/natio…
