@AnfieIdFix I also don't care what people say, you can't play him 'like they did at Bournemouth' he isn't offensively talented enough to be given that same share of the offensive load at an elite club. He's like the 7th best offensive option and his role was fine and I'll stick by that.

@Bd_irB_ll Robertson-Trent prime example, and I’m as tribal as they could get. Robertson isn’t deemed good enough by the club anymore so they respectfully told him he won’t be relied on as much, aka find a new club. The fans understand it, because he’s declined now.

@JohnProgress7 I think it was in the fa cup match vs United in 23/24 that Klopp brought him on as a RCM/CF and there was one moment where he picked the ball up at the halfway line and took on like 4 players through the middle, once he gets going he is so hard to stop

Only watched the second half but that was very promising from Gakpo at #9. Reminds me of 22/23, able to hold onto the ball in pockets and is impossible to muscle off the ball when he’s carrying in transition. Also very decent final ball and passing.

@LewisFN00 Going from Ali to Giorgi is like returning to Mignolet. Not a bad keeper, but certainly not a top 30-40 in his position. And that, at a massive club, is a horrendous downgrade. Need to find another GK gem again, maybe Carnesecchi.

@FourFourfarken2 the false 9 may have ran it's course but that was probably more to do with personnel than the system failing. Feel like if we grabbed Nkunku rather than Nunez we would have gotten top 4. At the same time though, Salah was already moving away towards being a creative winger so Idk
