Common sense isn't quite so common these days.

Tomorrow the PCS civil servants’ union is debating a motion to ‘counter a hostile Reform government’ with ‘sustained industrial action’: they are planning to go on strike if we win. This is Reform’s response. Any civil servant who seeks to undermine ministerial authority and the impartiality of the Civil Service through unlawful strike action will no longer have a job to return to. The Civil Service exists to implement the will of the government of the day. Its staff must do what duly-elected ministers ask them to do, within the law - or leave. By publicly confirming the reason for future industrial action as opposition to a specific ‘hostile’ government, the PCS have ensured their strikes cannot be considered a ‘trade dispute’ and would be unprotected and unlawful. Under section 12.1.21 of the CSMC, no appeals to the Civil Service Appeal Board will be possible in this situation. As the Shadow Home Secretary already set out, pension entitlements and any entitlement to redundancy pay may also be lost. Those who do choose to strike because, like the PCS, they disagree with the democratic decision of the British people are not only taking part in unlawful industrial action but are also in breach of the Terms & Conditions of their employment, specifically section 4.1.3 (b) of the Civil Service Management Code (CSMC): “civil servants must not take part in any political or public activity which compromises, or might be seen to compromise, their impartial service to the Government of the day or any future Government”. The fact is under a Reform UK government the Civil Service will be a much better workplace than it is today. Our plans will deliver a smaller and more highly skilled Civil Service where good work is rewarded and officials are able to make a real difference to people’s lives. A union that prioritised its own members would recognise that our agenda will be the most pro-worker in recent political history. We’re happy to work with any fair-minded trade union to develop policies to support workers. But, if the PCS don’t wish to engage reasonably they should know that we will turn their anti-democratic motion into a resounding win for a Reform UK government, the taxpayer, and the British people.

@Sargon_of_Akkad @RusGarbageHuman I'm sure Tommy has a bank account. Where else would he keep all his shekels mossad pays him? How else would his son afford to brag about flying private jets?

1. Aliens built it. 2. It’s actually not that impressive when you consider that this was the pinnacle of their civilisation. That’s where it stopped; no developing engines, calculus, microchips etc. They peaked at the triangle rock formation.

@Landeur It is a big triangle rock formation though that has to count for something right?

@JackieD86388657 Yes that is possible. My question is how we Muslims affect your lives or seem to take over. What has changed in your daily life because of us?

Can we, as Christians, have a healthy conversation about Islam with Muslims or is it just easier for them to make accusations about 'Islamaphobia' It's always one sided, they're always the injured party but never consider how we feel

Good lord. I’m certain people didn’t journey all the way to London for the Unite The Kingdom march to listen to this. Important speakers couldn’t present their speeches at the last one in September because organisers gave this flump too much stage time. Horrendous.

Horrifying news from San Diego yesterday, where worshippers were attacked just days before Eid al-Adha. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the entire Muslim community in San Diego. I know British Muslims are feeling deep anxiety today, with this news coming just days after a march spread hatred on the streets of London. We have record levels of funding for protecting mosques in this country, but we must do more than build higher walls. It is incumbent on everyone, across society, to stand together in solidarity against hatred. I know the British people will do so today.

So my observations are that you can criticise the Tories, Reform, Labour & the Greens but don’t you dare criticise Lowe/Restore You get a whole wave of Restore zealots ready to attack and I guess it’s admirable that they love their leader so much but it’s massively hypocritical of them to assume he’s beyond critique

We’ve all got to take a breath and look at the bigger picture. Right now the right is tearing chunks out of itself while the left quietly walks toward power. That cannot happen. Not now. Not with everything at stake. Common sense tells me this: it’s simply too late for Rupert to build the national infrastructure needed to govern. Reform already has it. They’re established, organised, and high in the polls. So let’s be practical. Get behind Reform now. If they don’t deliver, we hold them to account and make a change later — and by then Rupert may well have the structure in place to step up. That’s how grown‑up politics works. But please… stop the infighting. Stop the tribalism. Stop the fantasy football politics. We should be grateful we even have choices on the right — but those choices mean nothing if we split the vote and hand power to Labour, the Lib Dems, or the Greens. None of us want that. None of us want another five years of decline. None of us want to watch our country slide further. Together we can stop it. Together we can win. Together we can protect the United Kingdom we love. Use your logic. Use your head. Come together. God bless you all, and God bless the United Kingdom. #UnitedKingdom #CommonSense #TogetherWeStand #UKPolitics

If Vickrum Digwa was a Muslim or Henry Nowak was Jewish, Tommy would be all over this. Not a peep from him about the murder of Henry, yet he's back to glazing Sikhs.

Question to white British natives only Is it wrong for migrants to want a better life for themselves when many of their own countries have been ruined/war torn or has had their natural resources extracted by the British, Europe and America? If Britain once owned or controlled their countries then left them in a an unstable/ unsafe state or continue to create wars there, why would they not come to the UK legally or illegally if allowed, when Britain has been part of ILLEGAL wars itself?

Reading how the odds for Restore Britain in Makerfield have tumbled from 50/1 to 9/1 just over the weekend. Stunning progress. I am becoming increasingly convinced that we can win Makerfield and deliver the biggest shock in British political history.

If Restore were smart they’d focus solely on Norfolk and the East. Then campaign at the 2029 GE in half a dozens seats promising to keep Reform honest. That way voters there might actually take a chance on Restore knowing Reform will win the rest of the country comfortably anyway. If Restore try to go nationwide and tell people we have to win in 2029 or it’s all over the party will become an irrelevance. The route to power for a party like Restore isn’t winning in 2029. It’s accepting Reform will win in 2029 and then when Reform fail to deliver that is the time for nationalists to strike. It’s taken a century for a party like Reform to top the polls and it took Farage himself three decades. Restore aren’t going to achieve that same feat in just a couple of years. Restore exists to keep Reform from pivoting centrist and to seize the opportunity if Reform fail. It does not exist to win in 2029. If Lowe doesn’t understand this he won’t achieve either of those missions.
