All the DA managed to do in this election was win back 1 percentage point from the FF+. It's on track to get 21.8% of the vote.

Such an important dialogue! When individuals from the diaspora want to invest back home they face barriers that end up being prohibitive. Given that diaspora does 3x official development aid, the intermediaries building products deserve better regulatory frameworks.

Even if all cobalt usage in gadgets and cars stopped tomorrow, this does NOT repair the last 12 yrs of misery suffered by the Congolese people.
Also, tech and EV co’s would still buy the copper and nickel contained in the same ore body as the cobalt. Problem NOT solved.

@CityofCT Thanks. I have contacted WCs for 3 affected areas. I await replies. How much warning was given to residents and were communications sent by email, SMS, post (the same channels CoCT uses for rates etc)? No one I know got a warning until yesterday, and it was a forwarded WhatsApp.
