@liberalistic101

I'm trying very hard to be open minded, but some of you are making it difficult. I rob banks, but the wife use to work for the biggest thieves.

@gomichild 2006 was the last chance. Prices had tripled by then and have gone up 5 fold since. You can buy a box now and the kitchen will be close enough to throw Lamingtons at the neighbors.

@liberalistic101 @aaronsmith @Matt_Camenzuli No they don’t. You’re not entitled to anything unless you have a permanent residency visa pending then you get medicare. People don’t come here for welfare because it wouldn’t be worth it. They come to escape the wars that western countries have started in their homelands.

It's pretty simple. If you offer people who come from absolute hardship, and that are streetwise, the opportunity to come to a place that has extremely generous welfare - you will be exploited.

@SantiagoAuFund I'm more amused by the ones that give people a spray and instantly put on a block to to stop any reply. All the rest I put down to indoctrination side effects.

Nobody I know of has claimed they are a bunch of geniuses. Peoples inability to discuss something without picking one extreme or the other will never cease to amaze me.
Penjohn Publius@SiddanthCanada

@SantiagoAuFund Ok boss we get it, they’re all a bunch of geniuses who have thought of every possible scenario. By that logic, our history books replete with examples of imperial overreach and catastrophic mistakes are all fictional right

@aaronsmith @Matt_Camenzuli NGO funding is also used as a sideline payout system. I was addressing your statement, as for Corey, well... I drove to Kadina in a 45C ground wind to listen to him one day. I should of gone to the pub.

@aaronsmith @Matt_Camenzuli You're looking at the wrong programs. HSP, SETS & CSP. These fall outside of the NARWP 4 year restriction. Ask Tony Burke...

@Matt_Camenzuli Why are you amplifying Cory’s lie? Visa holders are not entitled to welfare on arrival in Australia. It’s a complete lie. You shouldn’t perpetuate it. It reflects poorly on you and goes directly to your integrity.

Could I suggest to Mr Rubio and the orange lemon that the ideal people to be the “ diplomatic toolkit” in Australia would be One Nation. It’s full of fraudsters, predators,grifters,sex offenders etc.They would reflect the current US Administration quite well.
Peter Cronau@PeterCronau

🚨 NEWS ALERT 🚨 The US Embassy in Canberra has been ordered by Washington to recruit Australian opinion leaders to work for them, alongside the US military’s Psychological Operations unit, to strongly increase US propaganda efforts in Australia. ▪️“The United States has directed every American embassy and consulate across the world to launch coordinated campaigns against foreign propaganda. ▪️“The cable, signed by the secretary of state, Marco Rubio, on Monday, also suggests the embassies and consulates work alongside the US military’s Psychological Operations unit to address the problem of rampant disinformation. ▪️ “Embassies are told to recruit local influencers, academics and community leaders abroad to carry counter-propaganda messaging — an approach designed to make American-funded narratives feel locally organic rather than centrally directed. ▪️”The State Department said it…had made countering foreign “anti-American” propaganda “a top priority” — and the department would take “an assertive stance on this pernicious issue” by “fully harnessing every tool in our diplomatic toolkit”.” Details -> theguardian.com/us-news/2026/m…

@MarkoMatvikov Do we remember whom he made exemptions for in the misinformation bill? He has no credibility.

Albo blames misinformation for public reaction to the fuel crisis. He laments the days when information was centralised through the mainstream media. But he fails to acknowledge why people stopped trusting them. He ignores that they were exposed as unreliable arbiters of truth. The fact is credibility is hard to earn and easy to lose. Something he and his government would be wise to be remember.

@JodieMarq @michaelJwyllie @SenatorWong 4 weeks in ... this has been going strong ever since the Russians entered Afghanistan and France chartered a flight for the Ayatollah. France should of learnt by now, don't negotiate with terrorists, but it hasn't.

If u are 5 pages deep into a piece you are planning to post on twitter detailing why the US & USD are about to fail bc the Pentagon doesn't realize Iran has mountains & air craft carriers are obsolete, just stop. You are not unique, not edgy & not contrarian. You are mainstream.
