I went to see Project Hail Mary. Great movie, I highly recommend it. The less you know about it going in, the better. Trust me.
The guy in front of me in the theater brought his dog in to see the movie with him. I think it was a service animal. But the dog really seemed to be enjoying the movie, it was strange.
So I said to the guy afterwards, "I know this is going to sound strange, but it seemed like your dog really enjoyed the movie." He said, "It is strange. He hated the book."

@returntoquality I've never volunteered my email without promise of a discount so fast. Can't wait to peruse this later when time allows!

"Slop" is real.
It's more than a digital phenomenon. It dominates our physical lives too, in the products we use and materials we consume daily.
As a result, true American Quality has become hard to find. But there is a better way.
➾ unslop.shop
I've spent the last few weeks building a curated list of quality goods that contain zero plastics and are made to last. In most cases they are also made in the USA, in all cases they come from American companies 🇺🇸
I will be adding more items weekly, and I hope you'll join me in the return to Quality.
Unslop your life.

FINALLY SOME BALLS!
Estonia just stepped up like the little country that could - ready to back Trump against Iran!
The Baltic nation with 1.3 million people declared full support: "We will be ready to offer any kind of support to the US or to free world countries."
That's the spirit of real allies stepping into the fight when it counts.
This small powerhouse is showing bigger nations how it's done - no hesitation, no excuses, just willingness to defend freedom and secure global energy flows.
Trump called for help on the Strait of Hormuz, and Estonia answered loud and clear.
The contrast is glaring: while European giants waffle and whine, Estonia punches above its weight with courage.
This is what true partnership looks like - standing firm when tyrants threaten the world.
America First thrives when genuine allies show up.
Estonia's bold move reminds us that size doesn't matter - resolve does. The free world is stronger because of it.

@HeatherACofer please try vintage formal wear! It's the most stunning selection for way less. Happy to send you some of my favorite instagram/etsy accounts

Looking for a formal dress online these days: A dialogue.
Me: oooh, this looks promising! Love the boat neckline. *clicks through pics*
Hmmm, there’s no back. Hey website, do you have one like this with a back?
Website: sure do! Here’s one.
Me: um, this one has a slit up past the thigh. Got anything without the slit?
Website: you bet. Here’s another!
Me: uh—this one has a full back and no slit, but—what’s with the side holes?
Website: don’t worry, here’s another!
Me: ok, no side holes, slit, not backless, but the neckline goes down to nearly to the belly button. Remember the neckline thing?
Website: ah, yes. Today’s your lucky day, because we have just the thing.
Me: love the neckline. But it literally is cling wrap. DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING THAT IS STYLISHLY COVERED?
Website: absolutely. we’ve got you covered.
May we refer you to our Mother of the Bride section, our maternity section, or this option that is a copy of the one found in our flower girl section?

I guess I’ll go ahead and have the rest of the zealots unfollow me. Here goes:
If I had known that Trump would have the good sense to marry American firepower with the intelligence Israel has gathered within Iran over the past few years, I would have voted for him.
And no, it’s not because I ‘love war.’ Only a psychopath loves war. It’s because if he didn’t deal with this problem, my children would have, and against a ballistic missile arsenal of far greater quantity and potency.
I reckon that makes me a cultist now or something.

@yvesandthemoon I think the reason they think its polyester is because the costumes look so poorly made that one would assume they can't possibly be made of high-end fabrics. No professional costume should have that much puckering.

@iratusmater @BowtiedQueenBee I only have one child but this is absolutely true. Little piles of bits everywhere

In the latest internet discourse, some women on X are claiming Henry Cavill isn’t “that attractive.”
But there may actually be a scientific explanation for why some women say they prefer someone like Timothée Chalamet instead.
Research suggests that women on hormonal birth control tend to be more drawn to men with softer, more feminine facial features.
Coincidence?

@agonyhope1817 ok but please a little disrespect to the OP this is such an insane take
English

🤣 No disrespect to the OP, but Henry Cavill is exquisite. The kind of man who could stop traffic.
Timothee...is a egotistical nimrod who looks like a prepubescent middle schooler.
Henry is a man.
🤣 I just can't stop laughing.
LinaHua@Linahuaa
Henry Cavill is more of a man's man. He actually isn't THAT attractive to most women. Timothy Chalamet outshines him as sex symbol that appears to women. Henry has the classic strong, tall, muscular and reliable kind of vibe, but he lacks edginess, danger, mystery. He's basically a Reddit nice guy in a jagged body and a handsome face. Also, he's enthusiastic about stuff like building PCs and his Warhammer figure collection. I find it cute personally, but for most women it's negative aura.
