@TheKairosPulse That's a Caesar, Brutus, or Marc Antoni if I ever saw one. Possibly a Zeus.

The Age of Scorpius was meant to be an indie darling from BookTok, beating the odds and breaking records, but it just turned into a lesson about why you don't publish your first draft. Instead, it just turned into fodder for my longest review ever!

@KrimsonRogue Also thank you for delving as much into astrology as you did for the sole purpose of giving this thing a proper and in depth critique.

@DiianaD_ A cute widdle puppy. No part of this prompt says it can't catch me and I can't play with it.

@Liar0__ Whew and wow! What a fun fact. Let me open my window, the one next to my willow tree, and tell my neighbor, Woodrow ( a widow from Winslow who still hasn't returned my wheelbarrow.)

@SkirmishMc @KrimsonRogue Also the expectation that taking someone's book and putting it to film means I'm going to watch a film that retells the story in a different medium...hardly unreasonable. It's been done very well way too many times to say that's an unreasonable expectation.

@lierinMY @KrimsonRogue "Unfaithful" adaptations exist and can be good. Just because it shares the same name and characters does not mean you were promised a "faithful" adaptation. You are grading the film against a standard that it never even attempted to fulfill based on unreasonable expectations

Peter Jackson started production on LOTR by proclaiming that they were going to respect Tolkien's work and the source material, and it's not considered one of the (if not THE) greatest film trilogy of all time. How well do you think this take on Narnia is gonna fair?
Popped🍿| Film and TV News@PoppedNews

Editor Andrew Weisblum on adapting ‘NARNIA’ with Greta Gerwig in a recent interview with “Art of the Cut”: “Right now, I’m working on a film that…the source material is very well known…I’m choosing not to refer back to that material because we’re doing our own take on it.”

@SkirmishMc @KrimsonRogue Unfaithful adaptations suck. Quite famously. Either tell your -own- story, and -call it- your own story, or tell the author's. If you choose to tell the author's, don't change shit because you think you know better than they did.
