So, $es high of 2019 was 3397, take the last 4 years of april YOY inflation (4.93%+8.26%+4.16%+0.33%= 17.38%) and apply that to the high and we get 3987. I would think this would make a back of the napkin calculation support for the $es if adjusted for the last 4 years inflation.

@RetirementRight What if these were another country’s early launch detection system? The US might be shooting them down to increase its nuclear threat to that country. Seems more plausible than aliens. Also, in a strange way, aliens might be a less threatening narrative than nuclear escalation.

@swingtrader If this were another country’s early launch detection or deterrent, by shooting these objects down, the US might be trying to make a show of force to perhaps increase its threat of its own nuclear response. It would be a step towards escalation or perhaps deescalation.
