Free copy of my book — would you review it? I’m offering 3 free copies of my book, The Confidence Toolkit, in exchange for an honest review on Amazon. It’s a practical guide for anyone who wants to build genuine confidence, strengthen their self-worth, and stop letting self-doubt hold them back. Please note this offer is for UK residents only. If you’re interested, send me a private message, and I’ll sort it from there. Finding My Centre Reflecting today on how powerful the tools of NLP and CBT are when life throws you a curveball. As an ABNLP Certified Practitioner, I’m always looking for ways to stay grounded, and I’m currently adding to my toolkit with a CBT Diploma. One principle really hit home for me today: "We don't always have to feel better to act better, but acting better is the surest way to start feeling better." It’s such a helpful reminder that we don't have to wait for the "perfect" mood to make a move. Sometimes, simply choosing to engage positively and take a small step forward is exactly what’s needed to find your calm and get back in the driver's seat. ☕⚓ What’s one small 'positive action' you take when you need to get back in the driver’s seat of your day? For me, it was a good cup of coffee and a fresh perspective! ☕ #NLP #CBT #Mindset #PersonalPower #StayGrounded #Growth

"I’m in love with this reminder. If your mind is powerful enough to imagine everything going wrong, it’s powerful enough to imagine everything going right too. So why not picture the love, the success, the peace, the breakthrough? Hope is just as real as fear — you just have to choose which one you feed."

I already know where my local CitizensAdvice is. And according to the website, the local phone number. But here's the thing. Whichever number I call out of the many I've seen puts me straight through to the same automated system that tells me I can't be put through because there is no local CitizensAdvice in my area. So no one is going to answer my call. Now, do you understand my frustration? And no, I can't get out on my own. Thanks to your organisation for using an automated system that's clearly not working and is potentially causing call losses.

@CitizensAdvice I'm desperate for advice regarding inequality and threats from a manager of the housing association where I live, and your stupid auto system is stopping me from getting the help I need.

I've been phoning different numbers in an attempt to speak to an advisor here in Preson, and each time I go through the same system that tells me I can't be put through because there's no CA in my area, when there clearly is and is based in the city council building. Even after giving my postcode and your office postcode in the city centre in Preston, I can't be put through each time.

@SophiaMyles My sentiments right now with some arrogant, abusive managers of the place where I live. Thanks, Sophia, I needed that. Brought a smile to my face. Best wishes.

It's a shame that CEO management doesn't actually get to read these comments, or maybe they do and have no clue when it comes hirering people who know nothing about leadership or authenticity when it comes to running a business. No cohesion between departments or management. Employ housing officers who complain about the workload, pulled off a job to cover other projects, leaving other residents without anyone to support them or just not turning up to support the residents. And lacking in communication and establishing rapport. Shameful.

Happy New Year 2026! 🌟 As we welcome another year, I’ve been reflecting on how powerful our inner voice is. Through my own journey and in my work, I’ve learned the language we use with ourselves can shape our mindset and possibilities. If you ever catch yourself thinking, “I can’t do this” or “I’m not enough,” you’re not alone. Here’s an NLP-inspired tip: when self-doubt shows up, pause and ask, “What would I say to a friend right now?” Then, give yourself the same support and encouragement. Every kind word to ourselves opens the door to new hope and positive change. Wishing you a year of growth, clarity, and self-compassion. #NLP #NewYear #Mindset #SelfCompassion

Ever feel like you’re caught between two extremes—working too hard or not enough, speaking up too much or not at all, giving everything or holding back? You’re not alone. Modern life constantly pulls us to the edges. But what if the secret to resilience, clarity, and fulfilment isn’t at the extremes, but right in the centre? Aristotle called this the Golden Mean: the art of finding the “just right” response in any situation—not bland moderation, but a dynamic balance. And as an NLP practitioner, I see how this ancient “map” aligns perfectly with today’s mindset and personal growth tools. Here’s how you can apply it: * In conversations, balance expressing your truth with truly listening to others’ needs —without judgment. * With your goals, aim for ambition that energises, not exhausts. * In self-talk, trade harsh criticism or denial for honest reflection and gentle improvement. * In relationships, practice empathy: understand others’ feelings while also holding your own boundaries. The Golden Mean isn’t about playing small. It’s about choosing the most resourceful path between extremes—every day. Curious how to put this into practice? My latest blog post dives deep, with real-life examples, mindset shifts, and actionable prompts. 🟡 Find your centre—read the full article Here: [ mindandbodycodingsystems.com/aristotle-gold…] #Mindset #NLP #PersonalGrowth #Aristotle #GoldenMean #Wellbeing

#Balance #PhilosophyInLife #Mindset #AncientWisdom #PersonalGrowth Balance. We talk about it all the time, but what does it actually look like in real life? I’ve been digging into a surprisingly practical idea from ancient philosophy that could change how we approach work, relationships, and self-care. Quick poll: Which is harder for you—saying yes too often, or saying no? I’m working on a new piece about finding the “just right” path between extremes, inspired by both modern science and ancient wisdom. Would you read something like that?
