@rocicrew I think it's a fair point that, though it's not the intention of TDF, Missy killing herself could lead to a relapse. I just think it leads to a dull character with an ultimately quite hackneyed relationship to the Doctor. Like neither he nor 13 even mention her attempted rehab!

i think ultimately the reason ppl cant see missy becoming spymaster is because they dont see the negative of what happened in s10 with missy & how her deciding to be good failed. & they dont see that spymaster is more than just ‘evil again’ & is a consequence of that failure

European legends do that all the time. Go listen to Scholes or any of his kind. Lalas is insufferable but he’s part of a greater type that goes beyond borders. His stupidity just stands out next to Henry and Zlatan, who aren’t playing into it.

Alexi Lalas obviously sucks in a very specific way but it's also a very revealing look into American sports commentary that European legends of the game do nuanced tactical analysis while Lalas' job is to just be like "Jude Bellingham does NOT have the clutch gene!!!"
