@_rnbrewer Good to know others are doing this too. It is not common; when it has happened for my students, there have always been issues that we needed to work through.

@_rnbrewer I usually make clear in the first class and the syllabus that I appreciate a heads-up if students miss class. I also email if attendance is spotty to offer to meet and discuss things. Usually, something is going on.

@scottllynn @jentalleydesign @willmenaker My kid - at 12 - sometimes is barrelled into by adult, grown men on the regular because "they're not paying attention". Even when I am with mine, I have to keep a lookout and steer them so they aren't hurt.

The show ‘Old Enough’ on Netflix where a film crew follows Japanese toddlers as they run errands like walking to the grocery store is maybe the most adorable thing ever. It also provides a glimpse into what life would be like if our towns and cities were based around cars.

@leeloowrites Also, remote workers travel for work, both to their own offices as well as customer locations. Vaccination status is critical information for both settings; many companies require vaccination for office access.

@interacting It's one approach to illustrate "what goes in must come out." One that I probably would not recommend, but certainly effectively literal.
