UPDATE- anyone remember me? lol so back in April my DNA search Angels sent a MyHeritage test to a possible sibling. Still no results back from that bc it’s probably still sitting on the coffee table or something.. kept people don’t care about taking those tests like adoptees.

SO another possible sibling offered to take a test and said he would send my angels their address to send it but that was a few days ago so fingers crossed that this test gets taken and sent in ASAP! #Findingmyfirstdad #adoptee #adopteeX

My son’s paternal grandma is threatening to take me to court if I don’t enroll my son in public school ( I homeschool my kids ) will she get anywhere with this? I can’t afford a lawyer 😞 #homeschool

My search angels sent a DNA test to a possible half sibling or cousin. In April. She hasn’t taken the test yet & I’ve been waiting to find out who my Dad is my whole life. 😣😢 #adoptee

@liladoptee Absolutely understand that. Your cousin is making your journey more difficult while she is privileged with bio ties she takes for granted. Will never understand that level of lack of empathy. I hope you find your dad!

Adoption puts adoptees in these awkward situations.. we have to find & reach out to people who are actually related to us by blood. THEN we have to wait for a reply. When being presented with DNA matches they MIGHT want to give us the time of day. It’s cruel. #waiting #adopteeX

@liladoptee Agreed. We did not crawl out from under a rock to just begin our existence. We have a DNA history and deserve to know it. When I found my bio mom, I had to be all nice and secretive so that I could get to her. Why? I did nothing wrong. She's the one who owed me an answer.

@LisaLis64338253 I see what you mean, but what if one person is my cousin, and she knows who my father is and she may not want to tell me but he wants to know me? That kinda thing 💞

@liladoptee Brutal as that may be...I see that as more of an alignment. Saves time while sorting out ppl who lack basic human decency. Do you really WANT to know someone who cannot extend basic kindness to others?
