Hello @TeamYouTube, My YouTube channel that is verified and has over 650k subscribers, which I've been posting on since 2012, has been unfairly demonetized for "Harmful content involving minors" The content has always followed YouTube’s ToS,

@sweetasyo What do I do if my content is all about that? I literally upload videos of Poppy Playtime, Garten of Banban, and I have old Roblox videos, etc.

What I did was contact YouTube Help Support, and I really pushed them to turn my monetization back on. Because there are even channels that clearly have example videos violating the rules, yet their monetization suddenly got turned back on even though they didn’t delete those violating videos. I kept pushing until they brought in someone they called a “support specialist supervisor.” And because I kept insisting, they eventually ended my chat support session with them. But after that, I received an email from that supervisor saying that I had to wait 90 days. However, this time, at the bottom of the email, there was a note saying: “We’ve shared some helpful resources with you, and we really encourage you to take a look at those.” Not long after that, I got a DM from the YouTube team on X. The message said: “Misleading family content is content that, intentionally or unintentionally, could attract young minors and families but contains mature themes such as sexual content or violence. An example of this is content that takes characters that children know and love (animated or live action).” Then they gave me two of my videos that violated the policy. After I checked, both videos were from a game called Stupidella, which contains characters like Teletubbies and Masha and the Bear. So my conclusion is that the videos causing our channels to get demonetized are those that contain characters loved by children, or videos that are considered appealing to kids. That’s probably why many animation channels are getting demonetized. I don’t know exactly how it works, but I suggest you delete videos that contain children’s characters like SpongeBob, Peppa Pig, Rainbow Friends, Mickey Mouse, etc. I even deleted Roblox and Sprunki videos because I was worried they might be considered appealing to kids. I also removed games with mascot horror characters like Garten of Banban and Poppy Playtime. If you can’t delete them, at least check your descriptions, titles, and tags. Make sure there are no cartoon character names or anything that could attract children. My advice for animation channels: avoid making characters that are too cute or have overly cute voices but honestly, I’m not too sure about animation channels. Thank you so much for all your support. I hope all of our channels’ monetization can return as soon as possible.

Every YouTuber should do this: Watch every video before you upload it Why? Well if you get bored watching your OWN video Then chances are your viewers will too Keep editing until it's enjoyable the entire time Most of you ignore this, but the ones who listen will see results

@AlUsuuliy Sometimes something could be wrong...I applied for a second account with my new channel month, it wasn't approved. After waiting 1 month, I closed the account and replied with another email and it was confirmed. Close any old adsense you have, if any

I have noticed that the reason given for my demonetization appears to have changed suddenly. I would like to understand how it is possible for the stated reason for my demonetization to be modified in this way. I have also seen other channels, such as @NpcUniverse, regain their monetization, and I sincerely hope that my channel can be reconsidered as well.

My last content consists solely of standard gameplay videos, and edits, no minors, no real people, no sexual or harmful elements whatsoever. Additionally, my secondary channel in Spanish was demonetized solely due to its association with the main channel. YouTube is my primary source of income, and this unexplained action, without any specific violation details provided, is severely impacting my livelihood after more than 13 years of dedicated, policy-compliant creation. @limaystar @TeamYouTube Yes, I submitted appeals and they were denied. But after I posted on X and @NpcUniverse helped me, the YouTube team manually reviewed my channel and restored my monetization.

and I have always selected the "Not made for kids" option. In addition to my main channel, my second channel in Spanish was also unfairly demonetized simply for being connected to the main one.
