@nvpkp Programming my coffee maker the night before. Prepping & portioning fruits & veggies when my groceries get delivered on Sundays. Also, getting my groceries delivered. All-matching socks and containers/lids. Forcing myself to book 6mo of appointments for the whole fam twice a yr.

@emilykmay So true. We tried many things but landed on my husband working 80% of FT (12h nursing shifts) - and once our daughter hit middle school, I switched from 8-5 to a 4/10 work week with only 1 day/week in the office. We’re lucky. But it’s STILL hard. I’ve been exhausted since 2008.
English

@kyle_minogue I’m so sorry. I had no issue in July - but last month, a high-risk friend was told she could get a prescription… for almost $2K (no coverage). It’s illogical.

It’s been 2 months + 3 days since I tested positive for Covid. I’m still sick and on my third round of antibiotics for secondary infections. You’re not ‘crazy’ or ‘anxious’ for still taking precautions. You’re kind. #immunocompromisedinaneverendingpandemic

@realgirl_fieri We overcelebrated holidays - real ones, unimportant ones like Pi Day, and even one that my daughter invented. And random theme nights (like making Dole Whip and watching Disney ride videos). We would go all in and decorate, make food, dress up. Great memories from a hard time.

@cindylouywg Good plan! I hope tomorrow is a little brighter.

@JustinTrudeau @TerryDuguid How it feels to read this as an immunocompromised Winnipegger who has lost my entire summer so far to Covid and its after effects… If it’s not over for everyone, then it’s not over.
English

@jbillingsley I’m so sorry. That seems about right! Hope it’s quick and uncomplicated for you. I just passed the five week mark since I tested positive - and went back to the office today (finally).
English

@EvHanson2 I’m so sorry. It’s not a fix - but something I’ve tried when it gets this bad is getting my husband to drive me to a float appointment. It’s NOT a cure but spending 90 min floating in sensory deprivation sometimes gets my brain back in the game so I can deal with the pain better.
English

@EvHanson2 This is where I am right now. I tested positive on July 2. The earliest date I can hopefully restart my most immunosuppressive meds is August 9. So I’m dealing with ongoing complications from Covid *and* an arthritis flare… and missing my entire summer.

Covid. Then a rebound infection. Now a secondary sinus infection. I double dog dare you to tell me this is just a cold/flu. #immunocompromisedinaneverendingpandemic

You know I’m properly sick because I’m willing to do *this* again. theatlantic.com/health/archive…

@heyjennbenn You are SO SWEET. I called and they have it - so I’m having my prescription transferred as we speak. Thank you!

So if my doctors want me to take Paxlovid but I can’t find a pharmacy in Manitoba that stocks it… I’m just on my own? Love that for me. #covidroundtwo
