They can’t even bring themselves to say ICE should leave Minnesota. And what happened yesterday wasn’t just “tragic news” — it was an execution. Cowards.

The BCA Force Investigations Unit has been requested by Minneapolis police to investigate this morning’s federal agent-involved shooting in Minneapolis. Our agents and crime scene personnel attempted to access the location but were blocked by @DHSgov personnel at the scene.

ICE is now responsible for 66% of the homicides in Minneapolis this year.

Yesterday, Reuters captured ICE breaking down a door and dragging a man out half-naked into the freezing cold in Saint Paul. According to his sister-in-law, they returned him after realizing he’s a naturalized U.S. citizen with no criminal record.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz: "What's happening in Minnesota right now defies belief. News reports simply don't do justice to the level of chaos and disruption and trauma the federal government is raining down upon our communities. They're pulling over people indiscriminately, including US citizens, and demanding to see their papers. At grocery stores, at bus stops, even at our schools, they're breaking windows, dragging pregnant women down the street, just plain grabbing Minnesotans and shoving them into unmarked vans. Kidnapping innocent people with no warning and no due process. Let's be very, very clear. This long ago stopped being a matter of immigration enforcement. Instead, it's a campaign of organized brutality against the people of Minnesota by our own federal government. On Saturday, ICE agents followed a Burnsville family home from the store, failed to present a warrant and entered their home with guns drawn. They detained four legal citizens who presented legal documentation, leaving a seven-year-old child without parents. A seven-year-old. Let that sink in. Not only is this inhumane and cruel – it's illegal. Trump’s ICE is out of control.
