Updates from the field: in the past 8 days, we had rain, we had shine, we had fog, we had wind, but we managed to map ca. 50% (4.5 km2) of the #Siikaneva bog with our multispectral drone. Now on our way home with almost 1 TB of beautiful data waiting to be processed!

This is how our #FluwWIN #expedition team left to Finland in the beginning of May to capture fluxes right after snowmelt.

Today we continued unscrewing our auto-chamber system. Great team work, we are more than half way through! #methane #fluxes #wetlands

Starting to revive the automated chamber system inherited from @zalf_leibniz on a rewetted fen.

Finally some #labwork again: anaerobic #peatland sample preparation to simulate oxygen depleted conditions underground
